thinking abt how jack just absolutely adored riley when he met her during the semi formal ep of gmw… i know she would have him wrapped around her finger. riley is so so similar to eric, which neither her or eric would even recognize, and that would be a huge reason why jack is so enamored by her. i like to imagine after the semi formal when jeric has their “omg we’re in a hotel room with only one bed omgggg” and jack kinda speaks up and is like “i really loved your niece,” and eric being whipped as ever asks why (even tho you don’t need a reason to love riley, she’s just riley and you love her). and jack just says “she is just like you.” eric gets all giddy and maybe a little shy. “are you saying you love ME?” he asks.
