Alastor in Wonderland AU:
Human Name: Unknown
Sinner Name: Jack Splatter (or just Splatter)
Sins: Wrath/Lust/Greed/Pride
Jack Splatter would be a chimpanzee sinner, they are known for being an especially territorial and unpredictable animal and for the male chimpanzees beating their mates to be faithful despite not being a monogamous species.
There are implications that Jack Splatter is the game universe's version of Jack The Ripper. Due to the later year, I think Splatter is instead a Jack the Ripper fanboy who fancies himself as a 'successor' to the original. He even started speaking 'cockney' to try and seem more like his idol.
And like chimpanzees in real life, they are often seen as funny by humans. So when Splatter arrives in Hell (killed by one of his own victims) he was determined to become a bigshot Overlord and even meet his idol for real... and it does not go well.
The Ripper was not interested in him at all.
The Overlords had been in power for centuries if not millennia, batting him away like an insignificant insect. One day, he tried to take on Dementus and instead found himself on the Overlord of Money's leesh.
Jack the Splatter was seen as a joke. And not even a funny one.
He had a brief moment of hope, when years later, the Radio Demon arrived and permanently killed those same Overlords that had kicked his arse way back then, including the Ripper and Dementus, playing their screams on the radio for everyone to hear.
He kept his ear to the ground for the next couple of years, listening to the stories of the Radio Demon taking in the less fortunate souls offering them protection. Sinner or Hellborn- child sinners, prey sinners, imps, hellhounds- are taken to secret safe place to start anew.
Splatter was desperate after what felt like a lifetime worth of slaving away to keep up with Dementus's quota, and chose to take another gamble. If he get close enough, perhaps earn the Radio Demon's sympathy, and strike when he least expected it...
One day, he found him and played up the 'poor, unfortunate soul' act, claiming he never did anything that hurt nobody, only to get cut off by harsh laughter.
"You haven't changed at all, Splatter. Still leeching off of others and blaming them for your misdeeds?" "I have no idea what you mean, sir? Whatever rumours you heard, they were all lies. Or perhaps they were speaking of someone else!" "Oh, don't flatter yourself, you are hardly relevant enough for people to gossip about these days." "What do you- How do y- I mean, why would you think that of me, sir?" "I suppose it has been a quite a while since we last met. Do you not recognise me? When you beat Nan Sharpe for refusing you and then burnt down her bar back on earth? You even tried to blame me for it."
Another voice was added to the airwaves.
