Yes, and for reasons other than his eyes.
His skin and hair color are extremely similar, if not the exact same, as a Sev'ral Timez clone.
Gabe is musically talented and good at drawing an audience with his voice.
He also frequently harmonizes with the children he's singing to.
He has an interest in performing.
As for differences which could point to him being a former member (whether he escaped or was kicked out), there's also
Whereas Sev'ral Timez is built for loud crowd appeal, Gabe seems to prefer a quieter audience (such as the children at the library).
Gabe is heavily associated with black, whereas Sev'ral Timez all wears white.
While Sev'ral Timez is designed specifically to be a boy band, Gabe is most often seen performing by himself.
Also, his preference is towards an art form he specifically says he feels is misunderstood.

quick question about your Foster Ford AU, did Ford get bumped up to kindergarten because of his abnormal intelligence? I'm only wondering because four is usually preschool age. Or was there a time skip between him being found and going to kindergarten?
There's a time skip between Ford being found and going to kindergarten. He's with his foster family for a little over a year before he goes to school. And during that time, he and his foster father Wyatt (who is a stay-at-home dad) spend lots of quality time together once school starts for Ford's foster sisters.
Luckily, Wyatt knows just what sort of activities keep a precocious kid like Ford occupied. They spend a lot of time at museums and libraries.
