I'm undecided if I want a new pirate warriors now or they should wait until after wano. I just want to play as Katakuri and Carrot so badly ;;A;;
the constant struggle........
i want to play as carrot and katakuri as well but waiting until wano would be a better idea. however, apparently theyve said they’re probably not going to be making a new pirate warriors game which is BULLSHIT. hopefully they’ll be available in one of the two new one piece games out. not likely to be in the vr game grand cruise, BUT MAYBE ONE PIECE DAWN WILL HAVE THEM?? heres hoping
just give us pirate warriors 4/burning blood 2 instead kthnx
What are your opinions on Yasuho's character? I've liked her throughout all of Jojolion but these last 10 chapter or so she's been amazing! Kinda wondering what the general consensus is of her and how she shapes up vs other jogirls and side characters
I’m on hiatus from reading Jojolion, so I’ve got no idea what’s going on now. I like it (and I like Yasuho too and her neat flower skirt), but it was hard to keep track of everything and stay engaged with the sporadic updates, so I figured that I would just read it in full when it’s finished
Did you ever finish reading Helck? I just finally got back to it and let my feelings do the wheelies amidst blubbering tears. Writing a satisfying ending for a shonen manga often seems to be a challenge for many authors. How do you feel Helck stands up in its conclusion? And, I already know how you feel about the series in general, but what do you feel about it now after the finale? (It's been quite a while since I've written an ask on here. Hope you're doing fine! :D)
Yep, I started reading it some number of months before it finished, and after that point I just kept up with it as new chapters came out. To be honest I don’t remember a lot of details about the ending! I recall it being positive and satisfying overall. It’d be simple to take a look and remind myself, but I kind of don’t want to because there’s a chance I’ll reread it someday and the more I forget before then the better! Anyway, it’s clear that the ending didn’t change anything for me. It was nice and a decent way to wrap things up, though clearly not memorable enough for me to remember it well after a year. Collectively for me the series absolutely stacks up well overall as a well thought out fantasy story. It starts out as mostly just a gag manga (an actually funny one), but gets real heavy, deep, and compelling. It treated its characters well, didn’t fall into any bullshit sexist tropes, and did a good job maintaining a balance between comedy and tragedy along the way
Cal! Have you heard of a little neat game called Owlboy? It's this 2D platformer with beautiful art direction that came out late last year. Would be really cool if you'd check it out! (sadly I've yet to try it myself bc gdi not having a PC)
I looked it up and I think I’ve seen it before. It looks like a game I would like, so I’ve added it on my Steam wishlist. It will probably be a long time before I actually play it though, given that I BotW is coming out in 9 days, and after that I still have a lot of games I want to get to first (like FE and the Mother series).

I think it's telling that they allow you to make it even harder by breaking checkpoints tbh I love that
It’s a good thing to have for people who REALLY want to challenge themselves. The game is just filled with that stuff. Half the achievements in the game seem practically impossible? It’s so wild to me to have a game with so many instant kill mechanisms in place and yet the still want you to try going through the whole game without dying once. Nope not me I’m good thanx
konnichiwahabibisan replied to your post “Shovel Knight is a surprisingly difficult game ”
The air castle level was the hardest. It took me two hours to get through
I haven’t gotten there yet, but that’s good to know. I WAS going to do that one next, but I’ll do the Tinkerer and Polar Knights first, and hopefully be a little more powered up for the air castle level
blogquantumreality answered: XD YEEEEEEESSS This bounty ep! Oh god, Sanji’s reaction was fucking HILARIOUS. *ded* I couldn’t stop IRL wheezing when I re-watched it recently :P Anyway, the currency. Fansubbers usually call it beli or beri, the Crunchyroll subs call it the berry.
He is still traumatised about it. He almost couldn’t scrape himself off the floor when Luffy and the others bounced off to see the new ship. xD
tempus-nexus said: Oooh, don’t worry. The Florian triangle is very much canon. So canon you’ll feel it in your bones. B ) As for Franky, his dream was to build a ship that could sail to the ends of the world. If he’s stuck on that same ship, he’s got to see it through
I liked the flashback in 322, when young Franky said to young Iceberg that his dream was to build that magnificent ship and then board it again at the very end of its journey when it had seen every single sea. I like Franky. He dreams such beautiful dreams. :)
jakem-10 said: One thing that we have mentioned perhaps a few times before is the continuing theme of Usopp’s lies becoming truths. Back when Luffy got his first bounty of 30 million, Usopp bragged that he also had that high of a bounty. (Because the back of his head was in the picture) And now when he actually gets his first bounty it is one of 30 million as well! :D He be spoiling the entire series for us.
Oh, no way! D: Usopp has the gift of prophecy. You’re right, he is the ultimate spoiler! xD
king-ace-the-turtle said: The official translations all use berry (singular) or berries (plural). Some fan translations use variations on belly or spell it beri, but I like berries. It’s kinda cute.
Ah, so there’s no standard fan consensus then? I’ll just have to go with whatever I think looks nicest, I guess. xD
halelikehell answered: Oh you tempus-nexus, I see what you did there~ :D
Yes, the florian triangle is very much canon. And yes, it has a lot of potential. And thirdly yes, Oda used it to its full potential … and more. I think I can say for sure that you have no idea what’s going to happen *grins* /theshittymarimo
WHAAAT? What did tempus-nexus do, god damn?? (A new arc. It begins all over again. xD)
So the florian triangle stuff will be part of the next arc and they’ll have to get through that before I see Fishman Island? Yes! Zombies pirates, here I come! ^_^
deesorceress answered: Do you know how hard we all had to bite our lips whenever you said how much you’ll miss Franky when they leave Water 7? Do you realize that Luffy now only has one more position to fill on the crew, the one he’s wanted since the beginning.
Yet another occasion where you guys deserve a medal for keeping that under wraps. That was a biggie too.
I do vaguely remember Luffy wanted a musician and Zoro was like, “Eh? For what reason?” and Luffy just shrugged and said: “Tunez, duh.”
nounoursonne answered: Sani realising kokoro is also a mermaid, hieroglyph talking, “Who’s this ?!” , I love this episode so much !, Be prepared for Franky in the next episodes… it’s quite a sight :3
Sanji’s reaction was hilarious. He is still incredibly pissed about it. All because some idiot forgot to take off the lens cap. xD
And I was not prepared for Franky. The image of his hairy arse is burned into my retinas.
slaxtheraven answered: The third person to join in each sea had their crews, eh?
Hey, I never noticed that. Good point! ^_^ Nami was one of the Arlong Pirates. Though she probably would have jumped at the chance to ditch them, if she didn’t have obligations towards her village.
celelorien answered: I went back to watch the filler arc and while it does have its moments, it’s not really worth 10 eps. Watch 326 up to when all the Strawhats go “Yeah, we know,” for nice ship display shots, but skip the opening because spoilers.
Yeah, I’m still contemplating skipping the filler. I’ll watch the beginning of 326 for sure, and thanks for the opening spoiler warning. ^_^
meheartonepiece said: Franky’s joining scene is amazing XDDDD I don’t even remember what the filler was about… Oh wait it’s that one. I remember it being okay. Not good, not bad, okay. It had some funny moments. Eh. I preferred the au fillers XDDD
I will never forget Franky’s joining scene. He has forever ruined grapes for me. xD
blogquantumreality said: Please. Don’t. Skip. The. Filler. I know there are some purists who get salty about the filler arcs, but I personally have yet to be seriously un-wowed by a filler arc. Especially the upcoming Lovely Land!
Argh, now I am conflicted. I so badly want to see zombie pirate crews... *angst*
greatninjadragon said: The only note worthy things about the next arc is that half of the first episode showcases the interior of the new ship (which you should see), and Robin has some good moments in the arc. If you want to skip it that’s find, I just recommend watching at least half of the first episode for the new ship.
I definitely want to see the interior of the ship. Especially that aquarium. If it’s anything like Rain Dinners, it’ll be spectacular. *_*
tempus-nexus said: The filler is 326 to 335, and it’s not really spectacular. It’s not like it’s the G8 arc. You won’t miss anything by skipping it.
Yeah, I’m still contemplating skipping it. The lure of canon zombie pirate crews is strong...
king-ace-the-turtle said: I’m not sure whether or not Buggy knows how to get the One Piece, though he might know what it is. I can’t say why I’m not sure because spoilers, though. He probably wasn’t paying attention, or he forgot. It’s been over 2 decades, after all.
How could you forget something as magnificent as the One Piece? xD Maybe Buggy knows what it is and he just doesn’t care, like the Yonko. Or maybe you’re right and he was asleep when Roger stashed it. (Wait, does that mean Buggy and Shanks have been to Raftel?)
ayalaatreides said: PLEASE don’t skip 326-335! It’s just a few episodes and there’s good stuff in it! There’s great anime-only protagonists and great stuff that I can’t explain (spoilers) but in hindsight you’ll be like WHOA. The main protag is one of my all time faves!
Ah, crap. Another passionate endorsement of the upcoming filler arc. I am now full of conflict and angst. I’ll feel bad if I skip it. xD
halelikehell said: I understand you, I skipped myself the fillers when I was catching up with the anime - you’re not the only one ;D Besides, the next canon arc is really really funny :D
Oh yeah, I remember half-man-half-lime said one of the funniest moments in OP would be in the next arc. *_* </hyped>
sparktehfox said: Remember when I mentioned the “climax” to the Frobin ship? Heh… You’re gonna love this.
She grabbed his balls. She grabbed ‘em hard and squeezed. It was a beautiful, romantic moment I will never forget. xD
half-man-half-lime said: Ehhh, I think I watched like half of the filler before losing interest, so I’m not sure if you’ll like it or not. As for Buggy, I doubt he’d be interested in the One Piece, whatever it is, since he only cares about gold and stuff with monetary value.
Ahhhh, so Buggy could know what the One Piece is, but it doesn’t interest him. That in itself is intriguing...
