after repeated displacement from leased properties, we've finally been offered a forever farm opportunity... we just need to get it set up. we raise endangered, high-welfare heritage animals - some of the only people doing so in our area - and donate the majority of the food products we produce. we aren't really profit motivated - we want to proliferate high-welfare animals and educate on the need for regenerative farming and humane animal practices. additionally, in our time as farmers, we have raised nearly $300k for another farmer in the community, held food bank fundraisers, and used what little we have at our disposal to support our community regardless of how little we have ourselves. to keep doing this work, we need to be on solid ground with land access that won't be taken away from us at a moment's notice. these fund are to help us build housing and fencing for the animals so we can get them moved over securely and safely. thank you

we could really use your help to get things going! we successfully raised almost 300k for another farm in our community (we did not take a cent of that money!), and we could really use a fraction of that generosity after moving repeatedly over the past few years and never really getting to establish a farm. im ok if i fail, but we just want the opportunity to really try. we’ve never been on solid enough ground to actually have an ‘operation.’ we are some of the only trans livestock farmers in our area and some of the only heritage livestock breeders in the region, on top of operating on principals of agroecology and high welfare. we also provide food to local food banks oriented towards marginalized communities, and we could provide so much more if we could get our footing.
