Love Is In The Air With Dynamite Comics As It Sets "DuckTales; Valentine's Day Special" Slated For February, 2026

Evil... finds a way? Dynamite Comics is getting in the love spirit with "DuckTales: Valentine's Day Special", an 40 page issue showcasing the love... story of Scrooge McDuck and Magica DeSpell.

The special written by Connor Ratliff and James III with artwork by Libero Ermetti is set to release February, 14, 2026.

The World's Richest Duck didn't accumulate his uncountable kajillions by being anyone's fool - and no one is more foolish than a fool in love! So when February 14th rolls around and the unsolicited cards and presents from charlatans and two-timers start piling up on his desk, Scrooge McDuck has multiple levels of precautions in place to neutralize all of their nefarious schemes. One age-old adversary, however, has forged a plan to bypass all of the McDuck Money Bin's famed defenses and secure the ultimate prize: Uncle Scrooge's precious Number One Dime! The indefatigable Magica De Spell just needs to get close enough to Scrooge to cloud his mind with the rare Forget-Me-Do flower. But when the single-minded sorceress is caught in the same memory-fogging spell as her quarry, all bets are off - and romance is suddenly in the air! Having forgotten their long history of enmity, could these rival ducks turn into cooing love birds?

Aladdin Comic Launching May 2026

Dynamite Entertainment has announced a new comic in their Disney classic line. Aladdin is written by James III and illustrated by Agnese Eterno.

"Everyone's favorite diamond in the rough, Aladdin, is on top of the world as this new comic series starts. The former street rat is united with his love, Princess Jasmine. He's got his trusty buddies Abu and the magical carpet. While Genie is free of his lamp and able to do as he wishes. But trouble always seems to haunt Al, and he'll need the help of everyone he loves to save himself and the entire city of Agrabah!" (Dynamite Entertainment)

Aladdin #1 goes on sale in May 2026. Covers are by Agnese Eterno, J. Scott Campbell, Nicoletta Baldari, and Natacha Bustos, with a Blank Authentix option. The debut comic will also be offered as a mystery blind bag featuring a "design of the Genie's lamp, and contains three limited editions of the issue selected randomly from a range of covers exclusive to this offering."

James III (1451-1488) was King of Scots from 1460 until 1488.

He inherited the throne as a child following the death of his father, King James II, at the siege of Roxburgh Castle. James III's reign began with a minority that lasted almost a decade, during which Scotland was governed by a series of regents and factions who struggled for possession of the young king before his personal rule began in 1469.
