-if you manage to follow him on missions such as you being on the same team as him though, he gets a tiny bit worried (not that he’d admit it) about you following him because you could get hurt
-adores just turning around and kissing you and going back what he was doing and leaving you all blushing
roach:
-he honestly thinks it’s so sweet, and will reach behind him for you to hold his hand multiple times a day
-he gets used to it very quickly since he loves having you around, but when your not following him now he gets a bit worried about where you are since your usually always right next to him
-loves the sounds of your footsteps behind him and simply just knowing your right there behind him always

-honestly, so far the day had been going quite normal for him, good training, an okay lunch in the mess halls, less papers to check then usual. A rare calm in his world
-he was even more happily surprised when he saw you hopping over to him with something behind your back, a bright but nervous smile on your face… he really did love your smile
-he got a bit lost in thought before he heard a sickening thump sound as you tripped and fell face first onto the ground, the cookies behind your back cracking into a crumble mess on the ground around you, your nose definitely bleeding
-he stifled a laugh and helped you up, trying to comfort you into telling you that it wasn’t embarrassing, but it seemed that most times you did try to impress him it ended up in a simple situation. In the med bay for a bloody tongue or nose or a sprained bone.
-especially the time you tried to impress him in training and your gun malfunctioned and almost ricocheted into his arm
-in the end though, he found it sweet. The silent comfort of you two alone in the medbay being something he looked forward to at times
