Pokemon Trainer Lux.

This is a gift from a very kind guy to luxilux of him in a trainer form with the pokemon Bulbasaur, Celebi and mew. 

I wrote a massive long post about this, but then my computer decided it wanted to crash. So I am tired and irritable, but I will do my best to recover XD 

I think this has turned out quite well overall, though I have been looking at it for quite some time, so I'm a bit blurry on the improvement on this fro mym last picture. I also had a last minute change of heart with the background colour. Originally I was working with a warm golden palette, as it was a bit of a running theme, but when I changed the background hue by accident, I found that the lilac/blue colour really made the gold sections of the Trainers clothes stand out. So I'm not sure which was to lean, but overall, either works.

Heres my Stained Glass window all finished. The lineart at least. I've already inserted it into the picture im working on and it looks really nice. Really good exercise too.

Things i am desperate to finish :I

If i post them here, i am more likely to feel the pressure to complete them. Some of them are commercially sellable too, so its like, argh if i can get them done, I can just pop them into the shop and let them be sold.

I just need more time. Or rather, I need to manage my time better.

I also have the kanto starters posters to do, a third poster to go with the old time ones. I'm planning on it being abut resurrecting fossil pokemon and having someone holding an egg with an ancient pokemon coming out of it, all very Jurassic park - like. 

I am also thumbnailing a special thing for ORAS, and working on a wartime piece as part of a collab with Anna Earley, which has finally started to go well.

And commissions.

Commissions

Uh, yeah, due to events at work which basically mean I can expect less and less work, I am popping up the information for people to at least look at and then decide if they want a team. I still need to work on some of the info, but it's basically all there otherwise.

Please, if you are interested, read the whole lot as it explains a few things and then maybe let me know via message on what you would like and we can see where to go from there. If you aren't interested, but still like my work, it would be nice if you could spread it around.

voidling concepts.

so basically, my boyfriend came up with an idea for a situation where a lot of different voidlings could meet all at once. I wont go into too much detail on that one because hes currently writing the short story, but it made me realise i could draw any kind of voidling i wanted, from any one of the Voidsphere universes, any species, which is awesome. simply, because in Silvers journey, there are limited chances he will see any of these weird and wonderful creatures, how evolution or direct influence could have moved things differently for the elder gods' games.

so, above we have some rough, unfinished concepts that i just wanted to pop on here.

first we have Sunshine.

originally a human girl, the world she inhabits is warmed by a dying sun. To keep her world alive, she and her two brothers and sister were forced to become Voidlings at a young age. They ended up mutating their own bodies to make their tissue a living crystal that absorbs solar radiation. with each turn of the day, the four of them encircle the earth and orbit it, absorbing and powering up the solar radiation given off from the wispy little star. 

basically, shes a bulb. she hates her job and she is 4,552 earth years old and has a love for pork scratchings and larger. 

the second is The Fae.

name pending, but hes basically my answer to the traditional elf/fairy creature. i based them on part human, part mantisy bug type thing. I just lvoed the idea of them being these ethereal beings, but not human at all. attractive, but in an indescribable way, nor a sexual one (though that can be debated..i guess?) The main idea is that their entire body is made up of a unique exoskeletal tissue that can shift and move and rearrange on the Faes command, allowing them to mutate their own bodies to make themselves appear more attractive to their prey (so the above one almost looks as though he is wearing a 'suit' but its all his own exoskeleton). They also have intoxicating pheromones and the ability to weave these pheromones into cloth with a silk like gland they conceal in the wrists. this literally allows them to weave dreams/suggestions/ideas into cloth as traps. 

Basically, they are sinister as fuck. and i love them for it. They have one large queen, and have a tendency to eat things that piss them off. Their bodies actually conceal large talons that are held close to the forearm (like a praying mantis) and a secondary set of legs that are locked to the initial pair. higher caste males and females also have a wing case that makes them look as though they are wearing long dresses or coats, but i need to draw that in. 

The voidling one above is a nice, if not creepy guy that ends up having a fling with a cthulu-type monster. its awesome.
