"I am the source of all beauty" ~Sri Krishna (BG 10.41)
When Krishna steals Maakhan
It was a sunny morning and Yashoda maa was busy preparing food in the kitchen. But Krishna had other plans today. All he could see now was the pot filled with Maakhan. His mouth was getting watery.
He struggled for a long time and finally, he was able to procure the Matka. He was delighted. He began devouring the Maakhan but Yashoda maa appeared at the same time. She scolded Krishna and kept the Matka at a much higher place than the previous one.
Krishna was sad. But, an idea sparked him. He went out and secretly called his friends. He along with his friends made a plan. They went into the room where Maakhan was, and there they sat one over the other and formed a human chain. And Krishna at the top easily took the Matka out.
Meanwhile, they were descending, they became off-balanced and the chain got broke. The Matka was broken into pieces and the Maakhan was spilled all over. But Krishna could control his urge and began to eat Maakhan from the broken Matka. His mouth was covered with Maakhan.
Finally, Yashoda maa came and the boys ran away. But Krishna was still busy eating.
He lifted his face up and saw Yashoda maa. But all he did was, he smiled looking at Yashoda maa with the Maakhan all over his face.
This is why we adore, Kaanha. His smile, his innocence always takes our heart away. SnackX celebrates this innocence, this smile, this laughter and wishes you a Happy Janmashtami!
