@wwjourneyofme I began my weightloss journey in July of 2015. I was fed up, miserable, self conscious and wanted more for my life. I had to try a few different things before I found my groove. I was able to lose 60 lbs in my first 2 years on my weightloss journey. Then things got hard and I quit. I started seeing the scale go up again. This was one of my biggest fears, to gain the weight back that I just spent 2 years trying to lose. So I began my journey again in Jan of 2018. I was 177 lbs at that time. I was down 48 lbs from my previous journey. I had gained 12 lbs back after I quit. I felt like this time around something clicked, I was more motivated than ever and even incorporated yoga as my exercise this time, which I hadn't done before. I was able to lose the 12 lbs I gained plus an additional 38 lbs. My total weightloss to date is 98 lbs. It may have taken me 3.5 years to do it, but I wouldn't change a thing. I went from 225 lbs to 127 lbs. I was wearing a size 20 at my heaviest and today I'm in a 4. My waist has gone from 42" to 28". Was it easy? No, but it was so worth it. I've gained self love, confidence, I take risks, I'm happier than ever & I live life to the fullest. Starting tip: is: put the work in everyday. Mind over matter. Do whatever it takes to battle those demons inside. Take it day to day, dont look too far ahead because then it may get overwhelming. Set yourself up to win. Meal prep.
