'Faith' Episode 21

I can't believe Doctor Jang is dead. Oh dear, I was hoping that he isn't dead because of his incredible inner powers that is as strong as our General Choi Young. I kept myself thinking of all sort of reasons that he isn't dead since the director did not air scenes that he fought hard against Eum Ja & Soo In when there are scenes in the first few episodes show that he has hidden inner powers too. Including the part when Eunsoo was being dragged to Ki Chul, he showed his inner powers again. 

I thought it was all part of the script, for Jang Bin to sort of 'disappear' and appear again with a 'wow' feeling, that was why I have been telling myself that the 'assassin' in Eunsoo's room might be Jang Bin. Although, I am also wondering why would there be a scene that showed him trying to hide the antidote from them and Eunsoo crying so hard that my heart broke. 

However, when I realized that Philip (Jang Bin) was forced to drop out of the drama because of his eye injury and had to admit the hospital, I was like 'OMG! OH NOOOO!!! @.@'. I have been a fan of his since his role in 'Tae Wang Sa Shin Gi aka The Legend'. I feel kinda sad that he wasn't able to finish the drama :(

On October 19, the production company of SBS “Faith” released a statement saying, “Phillip Lee decided to leave ‘Faith’ due to his eye injury. Currently, he is taking a break and he is scheduled to go through a surgery sometime in next week.” 

Phillip Lee played the role of Jang Bin, a multi-talented doctor who is the best not only in his discipline, but also in martial arts, on “Faith.” He was highly praised for successfully expressing the multi-dimensional nature of his character. Some critics called it the “rediscovery of Phillip Lee.”  

Regarding his abrupt departure from “Faith,” Phillip Lee stated, “I am very disappointed to leave the show with only a few episodes left. I would like to apologize to all the viewers and fans who love and support ‘Faith.’” He added, “I promise to return healthy soon and will try my best to continue improving myself.” 

The production company of “Faith” explained, “The decision for Phillip Lee to leave the show was inevitable due to his injury. We are very sorry that he has to leave early when we put so much efforts in the show together. It is disappointing that he couldn’t stay with us until the end.”
