New fanfic idea!! (Talks as if she weren’t working on any)

The idea is that Morgana not only remembers the name of that troll she saw 900 years ago, but also comes to the conclusion that he must be from the future (don't ask why, it was simply a mix of intelligence, guesswork, and a dash of madness).

So now, she tasks the Order of Janus with finding that baby and raising him. Thus ensues a whole lot of shenanigans, like assassins trying to convince a child that it’s perfectly fine that the world is going to be ruled by a troll named Gunmar who will ‘probably’ eat the entire human race, just like him. And meanwhile, Strickler is trying to stop a rather furious and paranoid mother, first to keep her from searching, then because he feels guilty, and finally because, apparently, he fell in love???

SWINGS OPEN THE DOOR

SAW THIS IN THE TAGS ON MY SECOND TO APP CROSSOVER POST AND PHYSICALLY STOOD UP

I LITERALLY THOUGHT ABT ZORO'S GIMMICK ABT GETTING LOST AND I HAVE MORE TO ADD

Zoro would definitely end up everywhere he's Not supposed to be.

- He's the first to visit troll market bc he somehow manages to get on without a horngazel. He just Shows Up and has no clue where he is and that's when Vendel knows that something is TERRIBLY amiss.

- Ends up in Gatto, robs that sentient mountain blind 😭

- Literally sent the Janus Order into a panic bc he just. Walks in and then yells at the changelings abt their stupid decor and confusing white-wall maze. The Janus Order are like "who cares WHO are you???"

- Somehow finds himself in the dark lands. Would 100% square up to Gunmar no questions asked, especially if he found changeling baby central beforehand

- Bellroc, Skrael and Nari minding their own business in their giant floating magic skull house and Zoro walks in asking if they have any booze and all three of them are floored bc Dude How Did You Get In Here.

In general I would not be surprised at Zoro being literally anywhere bro could be in Camelot and I'd think "yeah that tracks."

Usurna was the "changeling master", but what does that actually mean in terms of duties and responsibilities? What was her relationship with changelings and the Janus Order? Being the "changeling master" implies she's in charge of them, and presumably responsible for giving them orders, but that doesn't seem to be the case with Usurna, and they didn't seem to share goals as she didn't want the bridge to be rebuilt and Gunmar to return, ordering the rocks to be thrown into the ocean.

While Waltke has stated that there were plans to retrieve the bridge-pieces, there was nothing in the show that communicates this and therefore it can't be considered "true canon". And even if there was a possibility to recover the stones, it took the JO a millennia to accomplish it the last time.

So I think it's safe to say that she had no desire to see Gunmar return, her last words to Vendel were just mocking him and she was just supporting whatever side she thought was going to win.
