I never thought of them together before, that’d be cute af
Jess cursed under her breath as Nick and Winson were trying to make another rain shower in the apartment. She was going on a date and needed to take a shower but that wasn’t happening apparently. She went to her room and grabbed some clothes and then shamelessly walked over to their new neighbor's apartment.
She knocked on the door and a minute or two later a sweaty Sam in just a pair of jeans answered the door. Jess couldn’t help but look at his abs when he opened the door, not that she checked him out they were just practically at eye level. She cleared her throat and looked up at the male. He pushed his hair out of his face and smiled.“Hey, hi.” Jess said with a little wave, “My roommates are trying to make a rain shower and I am in a rush and um, I know you just moved in but I really need to use your shower. “ She said biting her lip. “They have the whole shower pulled apart.” She said as she pressed her lip together into a thin line and shrugged.
Sam furrowed his brow at her, “Okay.” He said monotone.
“Okay as in “Okay you can use my shower, Jess.” or “Okay yeah right I don’t think so, Jess.”.”
Sam laughed this time, “As in you can shower here.” He smiles and Jess let’s out a sigh of relief. “Thank you.”“no problem. Sorry about the mess. I was just unboxing.” He said as he moved out of the doorway.
“I can help you if you want?” She offered.
“No, it’s fine. The shower is right over there.”Jess took a quick shower, threw on some makeup and got dressed into her usual t-shirt tucked, cardigan and a fun printed skirt. When she came out Sam turned to look at her and he may or may not have frozen a little bit.
“Wow.” He says.“What?” She asks as she tucks some hair behind her ear.
“You’re just really pretty.” He smiles.
“Thank you.”--
Jess didn’t end up going on that date, and she didn’t end up helping Sam unpack.....then again he didn’t get much of that done either. Instead, they ended up kissing and in bed together after a little conversation. I mean how could anybody resist those dimples?
