I’ve been wanting to draw these two together for a while! I’m glad I finally got to- I didn’t realise drawing Eyeball Ruby would be so much fun.

Tiger Bomb Zine! WiP #1

Been awhile since I’ve shared any progress shots of my work, but now is a good time to help promote @jasperzine! Here’s a snippet of the rough sketch! 

I was stuck on whether I wanted the Ruby Squad or a streak of tigers to be accompanying Jasper. Decided to mash both ideas together, but Eyeball is the only Ruby who makes it into the illustration. That way, she gets this Quartz all to herself.

Any thoughts on Jasper x Eyeball?

Surprisingly, not really. I’m not really fond of Eyeball, if you’d believe it. I think her comment about getting a Pearl, especially the way she said it, really put me off. But I will say her tearing up bc she couldn’t sit on “Jasper’s” lap was adorable and relatable.
