Baby Pink Diamond 🥺

(Basically a sister AU to my "Broken Shards" AU where the imitation pink diamond reforms as a baby?)

Quick info

* Why a baby? Her gem doesn't really have a purpose so Pink/Rose's emotions & personality affected how she formed. Her gem having no code besides a consciousness w/ endless potential + roses affinity for human life = gem baby, I guess?

* The Diamonds don't understand what she is. They brought her back w/ everything they could think of (Basically jasper's resurrection bath in future 💀).

* Development: Baby Pink formed into the equivalent of a 8 month - 1 yr old and she stays like this for (human equivalent of) A WHILE. The Diamonds task their pearls to try and make pink feel better but half the time she's crying anyways, she "won't" even speak or stand for herself "demanding" to be carried around by the pearls nearly all the time.

* Development cont. : The diamonds originally tried to communicate with Pink but she wouldn't speak, all she did was cry. They tried to give her some time to cooperate, then when that didn't work they threw her in a tower. Not cool to throw a baby in a tower guys, even if you don't know what a baby is. Eventually they realized pink wasn't going to let up so they let her out & brought Spinel back to the Diamond palace.

* Caretakers: Pink's primary caretakers are primarily Blue pearl, Yellow pearl, Spinel, Eyeball ruby & her pearl - Coral. She hangs w/ the Zoomans too cuz 1 day spinel put 2 & 2 together & was like "Hey, humans make little things that look like Pinkie all the time!" And realized they could probably help. The diamonds adore her but they're very busy, White took over Pinks current court & paused production on the earth. Blue sings her to sleep when she has time though it's rare, and she doesn't know what sleep is but pink seems happy! Yellow tried explaining gem tech to Pink but given that she's an infant she falls asleep less than halfway through but Yellow still assumes she's listening so it continues, bonding???

pls i love eyeball so much im so upset she got reduced to a shitty fusion with aquamarine at the end there, she deserved jasper’s attention at least once
