Lo and behold, what has Blake found but a page of the accursed fanfiction she's meant to be a part of. And after a quick readthrough, she has a hand pressed to her mouth out of secondhand embarrassment (or is it—firsthand embarrassment, given that they character she’s reading is herself), and yet… it’s—definitely not as bad as it could have been.

I'm quite sad at how Jaun's been hated by a lot of the rwby fandom Yes during the prom arc he went way overboard with trying to ask Weiss out even more so considering the seven sisters he casually mentions But despite his mistakes his character is great That he's essentially a little fish in a big pond Out if his depth and trying to fit in and become something great because that's his dream I think those prom episodes took away from that and we saw him as incredibly thoughtless and incapable of thinking of the other people involved in these events. But that's not who he is, those aren't the events that established his character He's the person who helped rwby up during an awful first day, the one who chose friends over his goals when Cardin was threatening to have him exposed with the fake transcripts, and despite gettin his heart broken after trying time and time again to win over his crush tried to do something to make her happy over him. He's got a lot of short comings but it's been established that he's had very little experience with girls outside his family (quoting advice from his mom or dad "strangers are just friends", "all girls look for is confidence") he might be self absorbed and he might just be bad at understanding his mistakes. But at his core Jaune Arc is a great character, like all the beacon students and I don't think he deserves the criticism he has been. Also pretty please more arkos posts pretty plz
