Which of your OCs is the least invested/participating in the mystic falls drama?
Doing this in my favorite style of OC post!
They Are the Drama (Or Very Close to the Splash Zone)
Cassiopeia (does the whole sacrifice thing, meets her second dad (Elijah who wants to do that thing were you leave children out in the woods to starve to her), goes on a roadtrip, suggests grave-robbing Elena’s casket for fun and profit (or perhaps.... for prophet lol. lmao even. do you get it?), finds out she isn’t dead, commits a few murders, falls in love with Klaus’s weird pseudo-son/boyfriend/slave/victim, and makes it everyone’s problem)
Agnes (tricks Bonnie Bennett into resurrecting her and Henrik in a surprisingly well-thought-out scheme, but does not stick the landing)
Tyla (give fem!Tyler Aurora’s gun and I promise you the world will be a much better place)
Jemma (you might think giving Elena a sister wouldn’t change much—and you’d be right, because Elena is insane all the time, actually, and this only serves to make Kol more mentally ill)
Tamar (like a bloodhound, but for drama—and also for blood)
Sophronia (canonically, it has taken me over 100k words to cover… like… three days of content. That is how much of a splash pad this girl is for the insane, mentally-ill, and ill-adjusted)
Gets Involved (Makes Things Much Worse)
Judith (built for American politics and atrocities. Voted most likely to kill Mayor Lockwood and assume his position also she might fuck his wife—she hasn’t decided yet)
Natalie (look… none of this is her fault. She’s just surrounded by people who love her—and also the worst people you’ve ever met. Something was bound to give)
Marigold (evil, witchy member of the council and the Augustine Society who’s been playing the field by working with vampires on the side. Yes, she’s making things significantly more difficult for everyone involved)
Delilah (has tortured many teenagers who were, tragically, under the impression that this was a normal coming-of-age story. This is a Tuesday for her. And that’s why they call it show business, baby)
Brunhilda (she is trying her best!!! Leave her alone!!!! It is not her fault that everything she does results in immediate and brutal consequences!!! However! Her canon story has mostly forced her into an area separate to most of this drama)
Gets Involved (But Drastically Improves Things)
Miriam (canonically gets involved in the drama after finally merging—most of her moves vastly drastically improve the quality of life for these idiots)
Eleanor (there are two versions of her story in my mind—one where she meets Elijah early and it changes her life, and one where she meets Kol Mikaelson at a ball after taking guardianship of her brother’s children and beats him into the ground… I’d say in both people are typically in a much better place because of her involvement)
Opal (a middle-of-the-roader—she makes things significantly better for everyone else but much worse for herself)
Simeon (if he were on his own, he would definitely be the one Elena runs to for help. Unfortunately, he comes with two built-in freaks who, by virtue of triplet osmosis, have let their freakiness seep into him, and now he’s also a freak)
Involved Against Their Better Judgment
Danica (Finn makes the mistake of sending his emotional-support anxious witch into a war zone because he’s nosy. She calls him immediately asking him to pick her up because what if Klaus and Elijah turn her skin into a rug?)
Cypress (would prefer not to be part of the drama at all, but the parasites in her brain (the time loop I dropped her into) won’t let her escape)
Lydia (my Parker witch! Surprise! She’s mostly done cooking at this point! I’m making her the youngest and doing the Liv/Luke triplet as a different OC later. I also need to figure out my Parker/Finn isekai guy… coming soon. Anyway, she gets involved despite knowing the dangers, but her narrative expiration date is calling to her, and she cannot resist its siren song)
Rosemary (classic Salvatore sister getting dragged into the nonsense. She surprises everyone by actually having a backbone and not endlessly flopping between both groups—and that’s because she’s on Team [Redacted Secret Third Option])
Wilhelmina (Klaus ruins her life by introducing her to his siblings and his new enemies in Mystic Falls, who are all weird freaks and far too interested in what Mina’s deal is)
Isolde (does an evil-scientist Gone Girl in the 1910s and is never heard from again—Elijah prefers it that way. Or, well, he would if she hadn’t taken Kol and Finn with her)
Lenore (lives in a different universe, so she doesn’t really have much of a chance to be involved for a significant portion of the story)
Magdaelena (busy being a gothic heroine in the 18th century)
Siberia Cave Guy (in some cave, hanging out.)
Odette (there are two versions of her story: one where she is deeply involved in the events of the spin-off, and one where she’s in Mikael’s pocket and rolls into town Halloween-monster style, if a Halloween-monster cried a lot)
Johanna (I’m currently waffling on the final form of her story, but I imagine she gets dragged into this somehow—maybe the World Wars force her out of Europe, or maybe John tracks her down for help. Which means that, despite everything, she has to *shudder* get involved—if only because she discovers the dagger isn’t a death sentence. But that’s in the AU where Bryn doesn’t exist—in the Bryn AU, I imagine it goes in a completely different direction)
