In today's installment of JE Tries to Use Up all This Free Food Alone, I tried a new pie crust that used egg yolks. Made enough dough for a WHOLE pie crust for today AND tomorrow. The unfortunate result? A bowl full of egg whites.
No one has any use for them and if I don't use them immediately, they'll fall into the ew-iffy-idon'twanna category and get thrown out. That's cool, that's cool, I like eggs, so I'll cook em up for lunch (that is, right now). Egg whites suck balls; all the flavor is in the yolk. e__e
I'm going to gain 5lbs by the end of this week from all this damned pie. At least my cooking skills are getting better anyway.
