Cost of being a disciple ._____________ I just felt like writing about a topic that many christians would need to properly understand . ____________________________________ First up , a disciple is not only a follower of #Jesus_christ . A church goer , A believer * someone whose used by God for the work of His kingdom on earth #Anointed_vesell. Discipleship is a process. You cannot be a disciple without First relationship . Then only can the nature , heart and likeness of #christ be in grafted in you . ____________________________________ The life of a disciple is marked by obedience. When I first began in ministry I used to hear ministers say "that the anointing will cost you everything you got " . I never fully understood the meaning of this statement until now . ____________________________________ Living a life of obedience this can seem like a huge sacrifice @times . The anointing can cause other doors in your life to close .......... it can mean letting go of your dreams , sacrificing your ambitions . This can come as a source of grief if one is not well prepared to go through this Narrow Road . It even cost some of us their lives like the Apostles ,even #Jesus_christ our saviour . ____________________________________ A life of obedience will only permitt what God has allowed for us to go through in this life (thy will be done ). If the narrow road be difficult. ..... it will be full of miracles n eternal rewards .
