Happy birthday @twistedmashup!!!!!!! Sorry this is so late in the day, but I’ve got two little things written for you, featuring @revs-archuero and @faithlessismyname! Though fair warning, I haven’t really written anything in months so i’m kinda out of practice XD Well.. here they are!
((Idk why i chose to write this, so... pool fun because why not!))
“Come on Revs!” Journey shouted. She dove under the water, surfacing again next to where Revs was sitting, eyeing the water suspiciously.
“I don’t know.” Revs said. He toed the water and shuddered, drawing his leg back. “It’s a bit… cold, and wet.”
“No kidding.” Journey splashed at Revs, laughing as he scrambled away. “It’s a pool. You get in to cool down, get wet, and have fun!”
“Doesn’t sound like much fun to me.” Revs grumbled. Journey shook her head, laughing again as she dove backwards into the water.
Revs smiled, rolling his eyes as he settled back down by the poolside. He stretched, lazilly watching as Journey continued to swim around the pool. He closed his eyes, relaxing for the first time in a while.
His eyes snapped open as Journey let out an ear piercing scream and disappeared under the water. Revs leapt to his feet, looking around wildly.
“Journey?” He called out, scanning the area. She was nowhere to be seen. “Journey?!”
The water in front of him exploded, and Revs felt a pair of hands lock around his neck and drag him forward. Next thing he knew he was underwater, face to face with a grinning Journey. Bubbles escaped her mouth as she held back a laugh and kicked towards the surface. Revs shook his head, smiling as he followed her up.
“You should have seen your face!” Journey laughed, clutching the side of the pool for support as she gasped for breath.
“Ha ha, very funny.” Revs chuckled. “I’ll admit, you got me good.”
Journey smiled slyly. “So, will you swim with me now?”
Revs laughed, “You haven’t really given me a choice, have ya?” He gave Journey a quick peck on the cheek. “Race ya to the other side?”
“You’re on!”
((So... this one’s a bit sadder/more serious. I saw a prompt on pinterest that reminded me of them, then proceeded to totally butcher the prompt and this was the outcome XD))
Journey smiled, leaning into Revs’s side as the sun continued to creep closer to the horizon, washing the sky in beautiful shades of navy, red, and gold. Stars began to speckle the sky above them, forming into all the little patterns she had grown to love.
She felt Revs nuzzle into her, his sigh gently stirring her hair.
“This is nice.” Revs said. Journey hummed, wrapping her arms around him.
“Yeah, it is.” She said contentedly. “I wish we could stay here forever.”
“I dunno about forever,” Revs said hesitantly. “But I could stay here for a while.”
“Why not forever? We could build a little shack, sit out here and watch the stars, hide away from the world. We could spend the rest of our lives up here.”
Revs was quiet for a moment. “Well.” He said quietly. “I guess this’d be a good spot to spend the last bit of my life, ‘specially if you’re here.”
Journey raised an eyebrow. “The last bit of your life?”
“You really think I wanna live for that much longer?”
Journey sat up, turning to look Revs in the eyes. “Well, I sure hope so.”
Revs looked away. “Eh, it’s fine. Let’s just enjoy this while it lasts, alrigh’?”
Journey shook her head, cupping his face in her hands. “It’s not fine.” She said gently. “Is there something wrong?”
“Not really.” He said, refusing to meet her eyes. “There’s just… not a lot to live for, y’know?”
Journey hummed, giving a slight nod of understanding. “I know.” She whispered. “But what about me?”
“About you…?”
“Sometimes, I forget why i’m still going too.” Journey stroked Rev’s cheek with her thumb, voice gentle. “When that happens, I like to think about the people I want to keep living for. A lot of the time, I think about you and Chaska.”
“Me?” Revs looked at her, brow furrowed. “That’s not right. I mean, I love ya, and I know we’re together and all, but-”
“It is right. I love you, and to me, you are worth living for.”
Revs opened his mouth, and closed it again a few times before finally saying. “You’re worth living for too.”
“I love you.” Journey said. “Now, and forever.”
“I love you.” Revs wrapped his arms around Journey, pulling her close as she leaned in to kiss him.
When they broke apart, Revs rested his forehead against Journeys.
“I love you Journey.” He whispered again. “Now, and forever.”
Happy birthday!! I’m sorry I wasn’t able to have this done sooner, and I hope they turned out okay enough. Sorry if they’re a bit out of character.

Holiday Company party season had us busy this year. We had the pleasure to provide our Top Video DJing services as well as dance floor and room lighting for there 90′s themed Holiday Party this year at the the Lowes Hotel in Center City Philadelphia
