Since your bio says you're a Mizrahi-ashkenaz mix I wanna know if you're able to speak other middle eastern languages besides obviously Hebrew like Farsi or Arabic or Turkish or etc.? Unless I'm reading that wrong then I apologize.

no you read it right! before the various jewish exoduses of the 20th century, my dad's side was in poland, lithuania, and belarus, and my mom's side was in damascus and beirut. sadly i can only speak some hebrew out of the middle eastern languages (wish i was fluent, though). my maternal grandparents spoke/speak arabic fluently but didn't really teach it to their children, they mostly just used it to talk about the kids (and grandkids) in front of them lol. my mom still managed to pick up a good amount over the years, but she can understand it much better than she can speak it, and unfortunately only passed maybe a few dozen words or so on to me

Tarot experts, I need your help identifying a card! Story time:

Once upon a time, a former friend of mine gave me a tarot reading. We were, for context, both extremely high. She flipped a card over and said:

"OK, so this card represents a business man, like a boring, uninspired middle management type. You know, a Jew."

And I said, not even angrily, "hey, that's actually kind of antisemitic."

And she had an absolute melt down. Practically began crying. "how dare you accuse me of that! Don't you know—and I hate to say it—but don't you know—I really hate to this—but people use that word to shut down discussions about [dramatic stage whisper] Israel!"

Anyway, I really want to know what that card was so I can decide whether the story is funnier if I say what card it is or if I don't.
