The way I screamed, when this man showed up on my screen in the final moments of a show I wasn't expecting him to be in. With his other half, to boot. I’m a sucker for a good cameo.
At this point, I hadn’t watched anything with them as a pair... but this was honestly the best part of the episode. I would totally watch a sequel with these two.
The finale was just kind of meh though. I really only stuck with it because of my love for BounPrem and the great side characters. The show started so strong and then just kind of fizzled out. I think it actually might have benefited from a few more episodes, the ending felt very rushed. I do hope they make a sequel though, I'd like more of Mekhin and Pokpong's story. I'd like Ciar to find some happiness too. And of course I need to know more about Methas and his new acquaintance. Yeah, I definitely NEED a sequel.
My love for Junior actually comes from My Magic Prophecy. That was the only thing I’d seen him in, as of watching this episode. But after finishing up Revamp and Khemjira (which was absolutely fabulous, btw, one of the best BLs I've seen), I needed something fluffy. So I went hunting.
What I found was Cherry Magic (the Thai version), which has been on my radar for awhile, but I didn’t realize JuniorMark were the secondary couple in it, until I decided to watch it on Saturday night. And OMG was it the fluffiest thing ever! I ended up staying up almost the entire night binging it... absolutely adored it! I’ve read reviews that some people got secondhand embarrassment from it (which I’m prone to) and that they found Jinta, Junior’s character, quite annoying, but I loved every minute of it. I loved how over the top Jinta was, it was kind of adorable.
And honestly after watching it, I need more JuniorMark. I guess I’m gonna have to watch Perfect 10 Liners next, which I wanted to watch anyway for PerthSanta and ForceBook, who were really cute in A Boss and a Babe.
I first came across Book in My Magic Prophecy too… that show has led me to so many other shows and pairs. I love it so much! Gotten to the point, that I don’t always need to pay attention to the subs. Because I've watched it so many times, that I can understand what is going on even though I only know a handful of words in Thai. But I’m working on that. Been slowly teaching myself the Thai alphabet and learning new words, in my spare time. I've gone down quite the rabbit hole this time.
