There were people, a crowd started, it wasn’t meant to happen. Don’t give me the whole ‘you’re a precious thing that needs someone with her all the time’ crap.”

Clayton had woken up in the middle of the night due to the weather outside. The rain had been hammering against his window, and the thunder was growling in a distance. Seeing he was a light sleeper, it did not take a lot for him to wake up. He pulled out a glass from the cupboard and filled it with some water, before he rested against the counter top while scrolling through his phone. Suddenly, he could hear a loud knock on the front door. He knitted his eyebrows together as he walked towards it, wondering who’d be up at this hour. He looked through the peephole, only to see their face. He opened the door and gave them a slight smile. “Hello stranger.. Everything okay?”

sitting in the crowded cantina, jaina mulled over her drink. she wasn’t even sure what it was. she didn’t care. she wasn’t here for the drinks, or the very loud live band. no, she was here because sometimes, the universe was cruel and she just needed a break. she needed to not think. raising from her stool, drink still in hand, she turned to try and find a different seat, somewhere less in the middle of all the action. instead, she ran smack dab in the middle of someone else. “ kriff, “ she cursed, reaching out to hold onto the person before they fell on the ground. “ i’m so sorry. you alright? “
