Lors d'un colloque qui s'est tenu en italie à l'été 2007,l'archéologue iranien Madjidzadeh a montré les photographies de trois tablettes d'argile portant une écriture inconnue.
Les tablettes, estime-t-il, peuvent être datées entre 2 600 et 2 400 avant J.-C. "Elles semblent témoigner de différents stades d'évolution d'une même écriture", avance l'archéologue.
