Scenario: SQQ got into a fight with LQG after drinking a little too much at a party hosted by CQM sect. YQY tried to deescalate the situation, but this ended up with SQQ spilling (dumping?) wine all over the sect leader. In front of everyone.

YQY immediately stands up, hoists SQQ over his shoulder, and carries him out like a belligerent child. To avoid further embarrassment to both the sect and SQQ's reputation.

YQY took his robes down outside because they're drenched. SQQ's ass is NOT carrying Xiu Ya.

I personally prefer there having been nothing non-platonic about child and young teen qijiu—they were each other’s most important, the only important, but it was not romantic and it never even occured to them that it could be romantic. It would be all the more amusing to see how their thoughts change after they’re older and are finally both at Cang Qiong, even with the newfound distance between them—Shen Qingqiu stealing glances at Yue Qinguan’s exposed arms, his jawline, the warmth of his gaze—and feeling furious for being so affected. Surely it’s not attraction, only his anger mixed with his past feelings making him confused. Yue Qingyuan stealing glances at how long Shen Qingqiu’s fingers are, sighing when seeing how fast his sword is, how cutting his gaze, hating himself for looking at Shen Qingqiu like that because Shen Qingqiu hates him for a good reason and if he knew, he’d surely avoid him even more, if not outright attack him. Idea for an Au what would have happened if when Shen Jiu escapes, burns the mansion and joins the sect, Yue Qingyuan was still inside the caves isolated from everyone and with his body destroyed?

Or simply Shen Jiu escaping and ending up inside the caves, coming across the body of a young cultivator, completely destroyed as if someone had wanted every part of his body to be broken without exception and being cruel enough to leave him alive, in pure agony.

He knows that cultivation can restore the body's damage, but even he knows that this goes beyond that; it's as if someone had broken him only to reform him in a better way. It was something that reached the inhuman, and if he hadn't lived a life full of horrors, he would have vomited at the sight.

But as disgusting as this was, he simply turned away. It was none of his business, and he'd already left Hell. He wasn't going to stay and watch the person who did this arrive.

He was just about to leave without looking back, but then he heard the surprisingly alive body of the cultivator wake up.

pidw canon-divergent au where shen qingqiu and yue qingyuan are actually able to reconcile with each other, except it’s mainly from the pov of the other cqms peak lords (who are currently the head disciples of cqms) who immediately think the worst and freak out when they see qijiu getting along with each other, because since when the actual fuck do those two have a functional relationship?!?!?!?!?
