Part 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 (Final)
There was nothing more empowering than knowing you looked good as hell as you walked out of your building towards the subway. You only had your phone ready to be tucked away into the side of your bra - your dress was too tight to fit anything else so your subway card, credit card, and id were hidden inside your phone case while your apartment key was hanging around your neck, dropped into your cleavage.
Hair down and mascara on, little cheetah booties to pop against your little black dress and you were ready to let loose for the night. Some heads were turning and you were trying your best not to smirk, but you’d be lying if you denied you’d dressed to turn heads on purpose. Work had been ridiculous that week and you just wanted to let off steam.
And there had been a club you’d been dying to check out for a while.
It was called “local.” That was it. “local.” When you’d first heard about it you didn’t expect much, but hearing stories of coworkers who had gone there had piqued your interest.
On the subway, you scrolled through some pictures of the place that popped up when you had searched it earlier. The building front looked like all black glass and the "local.” was hung in neon, but that was it. You could tell they had cool lighting outside and the line stretched outside the photos you saw, but you couldn’t see many pictures inside, and the few you did see were pretty dark.
But your coworkers said the music was good and the atmosphere could fit whatever mood you were in, whatever that meant, but that’s all you cared about anyway.
You only had to walk a few blocks from your exit to find it and the line was what you’d expected. You just queued and tried to keep that pit in your stomach chill. You were starting to get nervous, because I mean when was the last time you’d even gone out?
But before you realized it you were showing your id and getting stamped by a bouncer who just said “Have fun” with a wink and nodded you towards the doors.
You could feel the bass as the doors opened in front of you and your heart started almost keeping time with it as you walked in and tried to take the whole place in. But you couldn’t quite figure out the rhythm because there seemed to be competing ones.
When you’d seen the name, you thought “local.” would be just a normal club, but there was nothing normal about the setup you had just walked into. In front of you stood two more doors that you could see through. On the left you could see a lot of people dancing, mingling, laughing, a DJ at the front, pretty much what you had expected. But the right? The right felt exactly like the outside of the building - dark, simple, neon, obscure. It was harder to make people out in there but it seemed like everyone was a lot closer.
Maybe this is why there’s such a line - how do you pick a side?? you thought to yourself.
Or you meant to only think to yourself. But you realized you must have said it out loud when someone whispered in your ear, “Depends on what kind of mood you’re in, because I guarantee one is calling you to come on in.”
Your heart dropped at the whispered voice in your ear and you froze gripping your throat at the little squeak you’d let out. A man walked out from behind you. Purple hair flopped all around, piercings, and leather, he walked to the door on the right and turned back to you.
“Hopefully I’ll see you inside,” he said, winking as he opened the door and you heard the music calling you to follow.
One beat, two beats was all it took for the door to close again and the music that had overwhelmed your ears was almost gone. You looked left again, saw all the people and you realized how you were going to choose. Left versus right, the light or the dark side?
Tonight you wanted to let our your dark side.
You felt a smirk growing on your face as you reached forward and watched as your hand curled around the handle on the right, reopening the door that had just been closed. You stepped in and took another few seconds scanning the place when your eyes caught a pair across the bar.
And those eyes, peeking behind a curtain of purple hair, were smiling back at you as he saluted you with the drink already in his hand. Your eyes slid down his face just in time to see those lips that had just been at your ear mouth “welcome.”
“It’s true that we don’t know what we’ve got until we lose it, but it’s also true that we don’t know what we’ve been missing until it arrives”
Summary: That night was just suppose to be nothing but careless fun, but after drinking shot after shot that night was your first time having a one-night stand. What did you have to worry about? 99% of the time you never see the person you sleep with again… right? WRONG. What will happen when your past comes back to life to haunt you again?

“Bobby,” I snapped out of my thoughts and looked up finding Y/N standing right there before me with a huge smile on her face.
“Aren’t you going to bowl?” I lifted myself up and smiled widely.
“Of course I am,”
Y/N and I are just friends… There is nothing that is going to happen between us two.
It’s innocent intentions… I promise…
~
Your Point of View
“Are you sure drinking is a good idea after what happened the last time?” You asked Bobby as you noticed Hanbin approaching a bottle of Soju close to Bobby with a glass cup.
“What happened last time?” Jinhwan asks and you turned and looked over at his band member.
“I had to help Mino and him to my apartment because the two of them were completely wasted. This one..” You said pointing at Bobby. “He was singing loudly in the hall and got scolded at by someone who lived in my apartment building.” The boys all looked at Bobby and he just smiled and laughed.
“Did that really happen?” Of course, Bobby couldn’t seem to remember, he was wasted and out of his damn mind.
“Yes, I had to save your butt.” The boys began to laugh and you laughed along with them.
“Hey, how long have you and Mino been together anyway?” Junhoe asks as he reached in for a fry and you had to silently reflect back at all of the good memories you had with your incredible boyfriend and then looked back at Junhoe.
“6 months,” You said as you reached in for a fry and that’s when you noticed Bobby looking so lost in his thought and you couldn’t help but throw the fry you had in your hand to his direction and he shook his head and looked at you.
“Sorry what?” Bobby looks at you and he looked a bit unhappy.
“Is something wrong?” You asked Bobby and he was quick to shake his head and after looking like he was frowning, Bobby looked at you and smiled. Just from that, you knew the smile was absolutely fake and something was clearly bothering Bobby. But instead of asking him again if something was wrong, you pretended like Bobby was okay and smiled.
You looked back at the rest of Bobby members and continued to have a conversation with them.
~
“Hey Y/N, can I tell you something?” Jinhwan one of Bobby members asks pulling you aside from the rest and you smiled.
“Sure what’s up?” You asked him and he smiled.
“I know it’s none of my business but I just thought I should let you know… I know Bobby and you are friends and I know you are happy with Mino but if I was able to have a say in anything… I would totally ship Bobby and you… But that’s my opinion.” The moment Jinhwan said that…. You looked at him and you were surprised because it came out of nowhere.
You looked over at Bobby and Hanbin and you suddenly started to reminisce on the memory of Bobby’s lips against yours. Did you have feelings for Bobby? Do you see Bobby as a man?
“Y/N?” You snapped your neck and looked right at Jinhwan and smiled.
“Yea?”
“You okay?” Shit, you were quiet after that being said.
“Yeah! Sorry thought I saw someone I knew,” you lied instead of trying to continue the conversation and Jinhwan smiles and walks off.
Imagine if you didn’t leave Bobby after sleeping with him… Would things be different if you were to stay? Do you think that maybe you would have been with Bobby instead of Mino if you were to stay at his apartment? Who knows anymore…
“Y/N,” You looked up and see Bobby smiling at you.
“Ready to go?” Shit.
“Yeah,”
~
The boys all had to go do something except for Bobby. So instead of going to your apartment, Bobby and you decided to back to his place. You knew that maybe it’s not the brightest idea but you knew that Bobby understood that you loved Mino and that he wouldn’t make a move on you… At least you were sure about that…
“And here we are,” Bobby says opening the door wide and the moment you walked in memories were suddenly flooding in.
But the memories that were coming back was the time you woke up in his bed completely undressed… You know what, now that you think about it and now that you are standing in Bobby’s apartment, your mind was racing with thoughts you shouldn’t be thinking in the first place.
“Get comfortable,” Bobby says as he walks over to his bedroom door and you silently nodded your head and walked over to the couch.
Alright, get comfortable? What should you do? You put your right arm over your left and looked around the room. Why do you feel nervous? Bobby and you are just friends… The both of you have been hanging out perfectly fine with others around… So now it shouldn’t be a problem.
“Sorry I had to go charge my phone,” Bobby says interrupting your thoughts walking back into the living room and you smiled.
“That’s fine!” Bobby walked over to the couch and sat right beside you. You looked over at him and suddenly felt like the room was getting hot. You couldn’t help but fan yourself with your hand and Bobby looked over at you.
“Are you okay?” Bobby asks you a bit concerned and you smiled.
“Yeah… I just feel hot..” Bobby looked at you and smiled.
“Oh! Do you want something to drink?” Ah, why are you suddenly getting like this? You’re just casually hanging out with Bobby… Stop overreacting.
“Actually can I have some water?” You asked him and he laughs.
“Of course,” as Bobby left his living room you decided to get up and just browse around his apartment. You looked at the pictures on the wall and you noticed a picture of Bobby hugging who seemed to be his mom. You couldn’t help but smile at the way he smiled. He looked so cute… So innocent.
“That’s my mom and me.” You looked to your right and see Bobby standing right next to you with a cup of water in his hands. Woah when did he get here?
“She’s adorable. How often do you see her?” You asked as Bobby handed you the cup and from that point on he looked down and sighed.
“I mean… In the beginning, before I even debuted I didn’t see her at all because she lived in the United States and I was here in Korea training… But the moment I finally debuted I made sure I did something I promised myself I would do.” Bobby says and you tilted your head and looked at him.
“And what exactly was that?” Bobby looks over at you and smiles.
“I made sure to fly my family back to Korea.” That was probably the cutest story you have heard from a guy. You smiled and noticed Bobby smiling.
“I mean I don’t see her as often but still it’s good to know I have my family here so if anything I can take a drive and go visit them whenever I want.” Hearing things like this made it hard for you to honestly not feel something for Bobby.
He was sweet, cute, charming… And he smells so good… He can rap… He can dance… Again what are you saying? Are you losing your mind?
“Well… I know you may not see your mother often but I’m sure she’s proud of you.” You smiled and Bobby chuckled.
“I know…” You noticed Bobby looking down at his hands and you could tell just from body language there was something Bobby wanted to say but you didn’t want to ask…
“So… How are Mino and you doing?” The truth was everything has been good but lately, you felt like Mino has been so dedicated to his music, he’s been living the famous life he forgets you exist.
“Good I guess,” You answered and after that being said you couldn’t help but to suddenly sigh.
“Uh oh, that doesn’t sound convincing at all,” Bobby says and for some reason you noticed Bobby getting closer. But the thing is you really didn’t put much thought into it. If anything you thought Bobby probably just wanted to comfort you.
“I don’t know… I mean the truth is, we are good. When the two of us are together everything is good. He tells me everything I want to hear, he makes sure that I am happy. He cares about me and I care about him… But when he gets back to his music I feel like he forgets I even exist… On top of all that he never really brought me to the studio to introduce me to his bandmates at least on a personally level,” You confessed all to Bobby and he just sighs.
“Well… I do believe Mino really does like you… But music does bring a lot of pressure on an artist… I’m pretty sure Mino will bring you around the studio and introduce you to his bandmates sooner or later.” Bobby was right. There was no way that wasn’t true.
“You’re right… Maybe I’m overreacting,” You responded now twiddling your thumbs and catching you even more caught off guard, Bobby placed a hand on your thigh and you just looked at him.
“Don’t worry about it… Mino is a lucky guy and I’m sure he knows that. Just give him time,” Bobby says as he gets up. You have no idea where he was suddenly going but you kept staring right at him.
He was walking to the bathroom but before he entered he looked at you and smiled.
“If you were my girlfriend… I would make sure to put you first.” Just hearing that it immediately warmed your heart. Bobby was making it harder to not like him. You wanted to ask him a question but you decided it was best to remove yourself from this conversation and talk about something else.
“So… Have you found any lucky ladies to be your girlfriend?” You asked him and he silently thought to himself and smiled.
“I did have this girl in mind but I decided not,” Hm wonder who’s the girl.
“What’s stopping you?” You couldn’t help but be curious.
“Well... she has eyes on someone else. No matter how much I can give her, how many times I show her that I’m not all that bad, you can tell she will never see me the way I want her to,”
You suddenly began to feel bad. You have no idea who Bobby is possibly talking about… But Bobby isn’t ugly first of all and second of all, he is beyond sweet.
“Bobby, it’s okay. I mean you have two options here… Either you don’t give up on the girl and show her that you are not a bad guy and you are worth the time. Or you can move on and try to look for someone who will give you the attention you deserve.” You said trying to help Bobby out and he nods.
“You’re right.” You hope Bobby does take your words into consideration. Maybe if Bobby gives the girl he likes the time of day you won’t feel so bad rejecting him. You just have to help Bobby out.
“I sometimes think I shouldn’t give up on her because I feel like every time we meet its destiny… But then again I know she’s happy and it’s not because of me.” Just hearing those words were moving you more and more.
The room grew completely silent and the both of you stared at one another. You have no idea what came over you however you couldn’t help but to look down at Bobby’s lips and replay the moment the both of you kissed. Why are you even thinking about this?
You could feel Bobby looking down at your lips and the next thing you know you suddenly noticed Bobby slowly leaning in.
Were the two of you about to kiss?
Why aren’t you pulling away? Why do you suddenly feel like Bobby has this spell on you where you can’t reject the guy… UGH, you have to do something now! Bobby was getting closer and closer to the point where your lips were so close to touching till…
*RING RING*
You two were so quick to pull away. You grabbed a hold of your phone and looked down at it. Mino was calling… Save by the bell….
“I should take this,” You said getting up suddenly feeling that awkward tension and Bobby just silently nodded his head and stood there completely quiet. You walked over to the halls and at last, answered the call.
“Hey babe,” You said but for some reason when you said the word babe, you felt so guilty…. Here you were at his best friends house….. About to kiss him… Wow, you’re a terrible girlfriend.
“Are you busy right now?” Mino asks and you looked around hoping Bobby wasn’t around and responded saying “no,”
“Alright perfect, I was hoping tonight you maybe wanted to go get some dinner. Just the two of us.” How could you possibly say no…
“Sure, where do I meet you?” You asked Mino.
“Meet me at YG, I’m finishing up my solo right now.”’ You agreed and from that point on… The both of you hung up and it was now time for you to put on your big girl pants… Go over to Bobby and let him know you were going to go spend time with Mino.
The thing is… it should be easy to do that but for some reason, it’s not… Especially because before Mino even called you… You were about to kiss someone who wasn’t your boyfriend…
Why do you suddenly care so much about hurting Bobby? You’re not starting to like him… Are you?
You froze and placed a hand on your chest not ready to step out there and face Bobby… Especially with what almost happened… But right now you need to put on your big girl pants and go tell Bobby you have to go meet your boyfriend…
After taking some time to collect your thoughts, you finally got off from leaning against the wall and began to walk to the living room till all of a sudden you felt your forehead hit against something. You looked up and see Bobby standing right in front of you…
“Oh I-I’m sorry,” I blurted completely freaking out at the physical contact you just made with him and he smiled.
“Don’t be,” Bobby please don’t smile like that…
“Um… Actually Bobby…. I uh… Better get going,” why is saying this so hard to come out of your mouth?
“Oh… How come?” Bobby went from a smile to a serious face being slightly unhappy with your decision.
“Um… Mino… Actually called.” The moment you mentioned Mino you could tell he didn’t seem to fond of your honesty however it was the truth…
“Okay,” was the only words Bobby said and he walked off. That’s it? Was that all he was going to say about this?
What are you saying? What were you expecting? For Bobby to stop you? You nodded and walked over to the couch grabbing a hold of your purse. You took one look over the hall and didn’t see Bobby in sight…
“Bye Bobby..” From that point on… You were off to spend time with your boyfriend like you should’ve done in the first place.
~
Finally spending time with your boyfriend was supposed to be exciting. You were hoping the moment the two of you came home from dinner, the two of you can talk and cuddle but instead the moment Mino entered your apartment, he went straight to your bed and fell asleep. You understand that working as a Kpop idol can be tiring but he could of at least tried to stay up..Or put the effort in spending time with you…
You closed your bedroom door and sat on the couch all by yourself letting Mino sleep in your room. So much for spending time with Mino…
Maybe some television can keep your mind off how frustrated you felt towards Mino.. Or maybe it wasn’t even that… Maybe you were just frustrated because you felt confused… You don’t know if you have feelings for Bobby or not…
It was all confusing to understand your own damn feelings… You closed your eyes and tried to push all your thoughts away, however… For some reason instead of having complete silence… Your phone buzzed.
You looked to your right and saw that you received a text. You instantly picked up your phone and not caring on who texted you, you read the text and see Bobby’s name.
Are you still with Mino?
Hmm, what?
Yeah… but he’s asleep why?
Why is Bobby all of sudden asking if you’re with Mino or not… This is weird…
Well, you forgot something and I’m actually downstairs to return it back to you,
Bobby was here?! You quickly got up from the couch and looked around. Holy shit what do you do now… What do you say?
Right… I’ll go down.
You threw your phone on the couch and tried to fix yourself up. Okay… He just came to simply return something, why are you suddenly so nervous? You walked to the door and took one look back to make sure you didn’t see Mino nearby. Wait, why are you so worried? Last time you checked, he was knocked out…
Here goes nothing.
~
By the time you got downstairs, there you noticed Bobby just sitting down on the stairsteps in front of your apartment building. How should you approach him? Should you scare him? Should you awkwardly go up to him and greet him? Whatever you decided it doesn’t really matter.
You slowly crept up from behind and lightly tapped his back. He instantly looked up and smiled.
“Hey,” Bobby got up from the step and now faced you.
“What did I forget this time?” At this point you’re not that surprised that you must have forgotten something, it honestly sounds like something you would do.
“Oh right!” Bobby began to search through his pocket and you casually waited there for Bobby to pull something out till finally…
You noticed he pulled out a chapstick that was in your pocket. Must have fallen out.
“This must belong to you,” Bobby says handing you your chapstick and you smiled.
“It does… Thank you,” It was cute that Bobby made his way to deliver a chapstick you accidentally left at his place, however, there needs to be another reason why Bobby came to your house… You knew Bobby was thoughtful but not that thoughtful…
“You know you didn’t have to go through all this trouble to leave my chapstick right,” You said looking at him and he awkwardly scratched the back of his neck.
“Right… I guess you’re right,” You continued to stare at Bobby trying to read his body expression but you couldn’t even figure it out yourself.
“Well…Thank you once again,” WHY IS THIS SO AWKWARD ALL OF A SUDDEN….
Bobby turned around and began to walk away. You stood there and watched him walk away till he stopped and all you could hear him say was “You know what fuck this,”
Next thing you know, Bobby walks over to you and smashes his lips against yours…
Warning: Adult Themes/Scenes (nothing too in depth but you’ve been warned)
Part 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 (Final)
You could feel Bobby leaning on the bar right behind you. Like he was just waiting for you to turn around. But I mean what were you supposed to say? You were so embarrassed after you’d just run out. And you didn’t expect him to actually be here!
“Prince Song have you been good to our guests?” he said, taking some of the attention off of you which you were grateful for.
“You know it boss! I’ve been telling Bridget a little about the club, but seeing as Y/N has already been here maybe you should give her a tour?”
“Hey now I see what you guys are doing here,” you started to butt in, turning in your chair to finally look at Bobby who was smiling at you.
“Does that mean you don’t want a behind the scenes tour?” he said, brushing a piece of hair out of your face and over your shoulder.
“She does!” Bridget yelled.
“I can’t just leave you here alone though...” you said, not really even sounding like you wanted to stay at the bar.
“You can and you must because she won’t be alone,” Yunhyeong chimed in, winking at Bridget who blushed a little.
Bobby took a step away and held out his hand, like an open invitation. You hesitated just for a moment, but the second your hand slid into his and his fingers curled around yours you knew you’d made the right choice.
“Text me what you end up doing!” Bridget called out to you before Bobby started leading you around the dance floor.
You nodded at her and then your full attention was back on the man leading you towards the very hallway you’d run out of last night.
“Um Bobby? I don’t know how I feel about jumping right back into it,” you said kind of awkwardly.
He let out a pretty big laugh but paused to turn and look at you.
“I would be lying if I said I hadn’t thought about picking up where we left off, but that’s not what I had in mind right now. I really am going to show you behind the scenes of this place.”
“A private tour of the storage rooms?” you asked, skeptical about what kind of tour he could really be giving.
“Not quite. There’s more to this place than just the two clubs you see when you walk in. And since there aren’t a lot of reservations tonight, I can actually show you,” he said, starting to pull you along towards the golden ‘Employees Only’ door again.
Now he had really piqued your curiosity, especially because once he pushed through the door you found a lounge area with a guy at desk?
“Ooh boss you’re finally bringing someone back here?” the guy said, leaning up on the desk to get a better look at you.
“Just showing her around, get your mind out of the gutter,” Bobby said, pulling you closer to him. “Y/N, this is Jay. He manages the back half of the club.”
“Hi Jay,” you said, pulling your hand from Bobby’s so you could shake Jay’s, causing Bobby to put his arm around your waist while you kept talking. “What exactly do you manage back here?”
“I can show you better than I can tell you,” he said, giving you a smirk.
“That’s enough,” Bobby said, cutting him off. “I hope you’re not flirting with all the customers who come back here.” he continued, glaring at Jay a little in a way that made you cough just to cover up a laugh.
“Boss are you getting jealous?” Jay asked, laughing straight at Bobby.
“I should’ve never told you guys about her you can’t be trusted!” he said, throwing his arms up and starting to storm off.
“Wait what did he tell you about me exactly?” you asked Jay.
“Not much except he’d met a girl who laughed at him for kissing her,” Jay answered, sticking his tongue out at Bobby who came storming back.
“That is not what I said!”
“If you need someone who’s a good kisser look no further,” Jay continued.
“That’s it the tour is over I can’t trust any of them around you!” Bobby said, standing in between you and Jay with his arms crossed.
“This the best we never get to tease him you should come around more often,” Jay said, leaning around Bobby to see you.
The whole time you had been smiling bigger and bigger watching them fight, but seeing Bobby jealous was something you hadn’t expected. You pressed your hand to his lower back and you felt him still a little and drop his arms. You took his free hand in yours and peeked out from behind him to see Jay while resting your chin on Bobby’s shoulder.
“If you ever want to spill some of his secrets feel free, but trust me when I tell you he doesn’t need a kissing replacement,” you answered back with a smirk as you could see the tips of Bobby’s ears get a little red.
“She’s firey boss and I like her!” Jay said, giving you both a thumbs up.
Bobby started shaking his head as he took your hand and pulled you around the desk and away from Jay, muttering something like “can’t trust anyone around her” which made you smile a little.
You squeezed his hand when you were about to go through the next door and Bobby paused, turning to see your smile. He took a breath out and squeezed your hand back.
“You ready to check out the clubs secret that isn’t really secret?” he asked with his hand ready to open another door.
“I guess?” you said, a little scared to see what all the build up was for.
Bobby opened the door and the two of you walked into his office. Or at least it seemed to just be his office. The far wall though was all glass and was looking down onto the two sides of the club you’d seen earlier, with another wall of monitors with red and green lights set up.
“What...what exactly am I looking at?” you asked, trying to piece it all together.
“My center of operations,” Bobby said, spreading his arms. “This way I can keep an eye on all the parts of the club, and the glass is one-way to downstairs so its discrete,” he added with a week.
“Okay so you can keep an eye on the normal part of the club,” you started, pointing at the section of glass that peaked over the lighter dance floor and people playing pool. “And the darker side of the club,” you continued, looking down at the side you’d become familiar with and seeing Bridget still at the bar chatting with Yunhyeong. “But then you also are watching? What is this exactly?” you finished, pointing at a wall of monitors that were mainly dark, with ones with green lights lit up and just showing blank rooms.
“The fun rooms,” Bobby answered, walking over to you and the wall. “We rent out rooms for the night that have...added benefits for guests who are looking for more than just a simple night out.”
You looked even closer at the few monitors that were lit up and weren’t really sure what you were looking at until you saw Jay go in and start hanging something.
“Are those...is he hanging rope? From the ceiling??” you asked,
“It looks like it,” Bobby said, walking over to the big desk in the room and picking up the phone. “Hey Jay, you’re setting up room 7 for an exhibitionist? Okay. And when are they coming in? Is it our regulars? Yeah that’s what I thought. They always order in some dessert, set them up with something complimentary will you? And last thing she told me she was into purple, so mind adding some purple rope as an alternative in their room? Sounds good.”
Bobby finally hung up the phone and turned to just see you staring back at him with your mouth open.
“These aren’t just hotel rooms, are they?” you asked quietly, feeling your body heat up a little bit.
“Nope,” he answered back with a smirk. “Our members have...preferences...that we try and cater to. I mean not everyone can have a pole or a swing in their house.”
You felt yourself gulp as your face flamed.
“Bobby, do you...”
“Have a pole or a swing? Not yet.” he said, walking towards you. Raising his hand so his finger lightly trailed down your cheek, he continued saying “but I do have a few things I would like to use with you.”
Your knees buckled as your whole body heated up. Bobby caught you and held you to him. You would deny any control of your limbs, but seeing as your hands had both found their way under his shirt you knew you’d be lying since you’d been dying to get your hands on him from the second you’d seen him again downstairs.
“Oh?” was all you could get out on a breath, watching his lips that were smirking and taunting you.
“Enough about what I want though,” Bobby said, slowly walking you backwards towards the couch in the room. “You ran last night but came back? What do you want?”
Your mind was screaming at you. Tell him to touch you! Tell him to devour you! Tell him to take the hand on your cheek and bring it slowly down until he found your -
“Y/N? Are you still with me? Do you need something to drink? You look a bit flushed.” he said as he started to get up off the couch, away from you.
“NO!” you screamed, startling Bobby and yourself a little. You coughed a little to clear your throat. “No, sorry. My mind kind of ran away from me.”
Bobby still got up as you kept talking, walking to the fridge in the office and getting a cup.
“I’ve had a lot on my mind since last night. But I guess it really all can boil down to two things.” you continued, watching him walk back to you on the couch with a cup of ice.
“And?” he said, dropping next to you on the couch, pulling your legs across his lap, and wrapping an arm around your shoulders while still holding the glass.
You crept one of your hands up his chest slowly, poising a finger under his jaw while your other hand reached for the glass.
“I want to know you is one thought,” you said, setting the glass down so you could pluck an ice cub out of it.
“And the other?” Bobby said, running his now free hand that had been cooled by the glass along your exposed thigh, giving you goose bumps.
“And I want to feel you,” you whispered before placing the ice cube into your mouth.
Bobby’s eyes lit up and that was all the invitation you needed to pull his chin forward and kiss him full-on, letting the cool ice melt between you as his tongue instantly sweeped yours to steal the cube from your mouth.
You hadn’t ever felt anything as hot as the way Bobby’s tongue curled around yours as you both warmed up that ice cube. Chill juices escaped your lips and Bobby quickly followed them, sucking them up before pulling on your bottom lip.
You weren’t running or holding back anymore. Bobby pushed your jacket from your shoulders and kissed the exposed skin that showed when your dress strap had slipped down too. You got greedy and wrapped your hands behind his head, guiding and holding him to the base of your neck where your pulse was thrumming. Bobby kissed and sucked in a rhythm that was so addictive that, when he pulled harshly at the skin, it had your hips jumping and a moan racing from your lips.
He pulled back to look at you and it was charged, just as heated as last night. But he was also doing that thing again. The one where he was showing clearly what he wanted but he was also on the edge, waiting. Waiting for you to make the next move.
But you weren’t going to walk away and regret it again, so you worked your hands under his shirt and slowly slid it up over his head while your mouth followed the hem, taking his his heated skin and finding a chain that had been hidden under his shirt. When it was finally off, you leaned back, throwing your jacket off of the couch and decided you were really done waiting.
“Lock the door Bobby.” you said, leaving no room for discussion.
In what you were learning quickly was true Bobby fashion, he stumbled as he bolted to run for the door, flicking the lock and running back to you. He almost lowered himself down when he paused and turned back to the glass on the table. Plucking another ice cub out, he held it up above you, and started to let it drip once, twice, three times, onto your neck and watched as the water started to run down, making your whole body shiver.
“I think we’re going to need these,” he said before setting the ice onto your skin, placing his lips onto it, and starting to trace a new line of his own down your body that had you clawing at his back.

"You just ran?! What the hell, Y/N!” Bridget yelled at you through the phone.
“Please for the love of holy cheese and crackers don’t yell I’m hungover,” you said back, rubbing at your temples.
“You’re not hungover you had one drink. You’re pent up, lusted over, and embarrassed because you RAN AWAY FROM SOME MAN NAMED BOBBY YOU HAD A CONNECTION WITH WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!”
You had to pull the phone away from your ear at that one. You waited a beat before bringing it back.
“Are you done yelling at me? I feel stupid enough right now.” you said grumpily.
“Okay okay I’m done yelling. Only because you admitted it was stupid to just run.”
You were ignoring the ‘I-Told-You-So’ tone she was using.
“We need a game plan,” she continued.
“A game plan? Really Bridget??” you said, rolling your eyes at how serious she was getting.
“Yes a game plan! You called me bright and early -”
“It’s 11 o’clock in the morning I’d hardly call that ear-” you tried to interrupt.
“Excuse me bright and early just to talk about last night and now you’re trying to act like you don’t care?” she finished.
“That kind of stuff happens at clubs all the time!” you protested.
“Y/N you remembered every word he said to you. Granted it wasn’t like you guys did a lot of talking anyway...”
“BRIDGET!”
“LOOK WHO’S YELLING NOW!”
You took a deep breath.
“Okay I have two options/pieces of advice for you, are you ready for them?”
Cue you taking another deep breath.
“Yeah.”
“(1) Forget about last night. Take it as you were able to burn off some steam and let loose. Just move on from it and forget about him except for on lonely late nights when you need a pick-me-up ehhhhehhhh.”
“Bridget...” you said with a warning tone as you really tried to be stern and not laugh because you knew exactly what she meant.
“OR (2) Go to the club with me tonight and leave it up to fate. This is a strike while the irons hot situation. If he’s there, you can apologize for running and see if there’s anything between you two. If he says no then I’m still there to help take your mind off it. And if he isn’t even there we’ll just call it a missed opportunity, dance a little, and then head home for takeout and movies.”
“You make really thoroughly detailed plans you know that?” you said after a moment.
“Does that mean you’ve picked one?”
“Depends. Do we have time to go shopping today because I really only own that one club dress.”
“Of course we have time! So long as you have time to let me borrow your cheetah booties.” she shot back.
“I’ll be at your place in thirty.” you answered before hanging up and grabbing your stuff. The sooner you set the second plan into motion the less time you’d have to get scared and back out.
--
“You waited in this line yesterday?” Bridget whispered to you as you both slowly took another step forward.
“Yep! I will say it wasn’t as cold out last night,” you responded, tugging on the sleeves of the leather jacket you were glad you’d pulled on over your dark green dress. It was a strappy little thing that showed plenty of cleavage as it wrapped around your waist, and as good as you know you’d looked you still weren’t willing to leave the house without a jacket as a sort of safety blanket.
The two of you took another step forward as the line moved and you were just a few people away from the front doors.
“You don’t need to be nervous, I’m going to be here the whole time,” Bridget said to you as she noticed you kept fidgeting. “Just think of it as immersive story telling on a girls night. You just wanted me to see the place first hand and we can always head home if you really don’t want to be here.”
You blew out a breath with another step forward.
“Thank you for coming with me,” you said. “I think I’d regret it if I didn’t even try to find him again. It just feels like such a long shot.”
“You felt something for him. Wanting to see if it’s real isn’t crazy or a long shot at all.” she said, nudging your shoulder with hers.
“Well, we’re about to see aren’t we,” you replied as you handed your ID over to the bouncer.
“Welcome back,” he said before stamping your hand on top of the stamp that hadn’t quite washed off from yesterday.
You gave a nod to him as you led Bridget into the club.
“Oooh I get what you meant when you said there were two sides to it. This is actually really cool,” she said, taking it all in. “And you said you went in the right side?”
“After you,” you said, pulling the door and opening it to let her pass by you.
She stopped just inside like you had, taking it all in before snapping out of it and walking the two of you over towards the bar.
“Barkeep!” Bridget said as she smiled at the back of the bartender who was handling some glasses. “A Coke and a glass of red!”
“Bridget you can’t just call the man ‘Barkeep’ like that!” you laughed out as he turned around.
“I don’t know,” the bartender said as he turned around with a smile, “Barkeep is better than the nickname my coworkers actually gave me.”
“Ooh care to share?” you asked, noticing a glazed-eyed Bridget completely focused on the man in front of you.
“It’s kind of embarrassing but they call me Prince Song haha. What kind of red to you want?” he asked you, pulling a wine glass off the shelf.
“Just your cheapest cabernet or house red blend, I’m not picky.” you answered with a smile.
“I can see it,” Bridget finally said, still eyeing the bartender. And then she realized the two of you were now staring at her so she got a bit flustered. “I can see why they would call you a Prince is all I meant.”
“Well if it makes you that shy to mention you can just call me Yunhyeong,” he said, passing a Coke across the bar to her. “Although Barkeep does have a fun ring to it.” he finished, smiling at her.
You sat there, sipping your wine while trying to hide the smile you couldn’t actually contain as you saw the two of them smile and banter back and forth. It was nice seeing your best friend smitten though and you wanted to give them a little privacy, so you turned away and sipped at your wine while scanning the place that had been living in your mind nonstop since last night.
You could see people enjoying themselves, and the atmosphere was just as all consuming as it had been last night. You smiled to yourself as you took another sip and felt a pang of regret hit at how you had run out last night.
“Y/N? Y/N!” Bridget said, shaking your shoulder a little to get your attention. “Zoning out there?”
You hadn’t realized your bartender had moved on down the bar and was on the phone.
“You remember I’m here now that your Prince had to go off to do some work??” you teased, wiggling your eyebrows at her.
“Or maybe I was pumping him for information on your behalf did you ever think of that?”
“Don’t even try me Bridget you were totally flirting with him!”
“Okay okay yes I was flirting with him some and I do intend to do that for the rest of the night but remember how fabulous I am at detailed plans?”
“What did you do?” you said, already dreading the answer when you saw Yunhyeong heading back your way and nodding his head at her.
“It’s all thanks to you. You said last night that guy that interrupted you called your man ‘Boss,’ right? Well Prince Barkeep here said his boss has purple hair right now and is named Bobby.”
Your heart stopped completely as your eyebrows shot up.
“And it just so happens,” Yunhyeong chimed in, “that my boss also was going on and on about a girl he’d met last night when we were setting up to open tonight.”
“Wait wait wait,” you said, setting your glass down on the bartop. “I need a minute to process all of this.”
“Sorry Y/N, but you actually don’t really have a minute,” Bridget said, wincing slightly.
You pulled your eyebrows back down and into a slight glare.
“And why is that exactly? What did you do?” you asked, seeing Bridget’s eyes widen and then flick towards Yunhyeong.
“She had him call me,” a voice said in your ear, causing chills to race up your spine.

Part 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 (Final)
The room was all-consuming from the minute you had stepped in and you weren’t even sure how. The bass set your heart just as it had been trying to do since you’d stepped into the building. The music filled your ears but wasn’t obnoxiously loud. It was more like it was wrapping in and around you and pulling you further in. There were no bright lights or flashing, but subtle hues of different colors that framed the room and the dance floor. No high top tables or rickety bar stools, but tables on the edges of the room with couches covered in black velvet and gold with high backs and arms secluding anyone on it.
The feeling you got was intoxicating and you hadn’t even done anything.
Yet.
The longer you stood there though, the more you started to doubt yourself just a little for picking the right side. Shaking it off, you walked over to the bar to get a drink. Whatever your feelings were, you’d been looking for an interesting night out to take your mind off of work and that’s exactly what you were about to gift yourself.
You spent a few minutes just leaning against the bar, sipping your drink and watching silhouettes on the dance floor. You hadn’t even noticed your hips had started moving on their own. When you finished your drink though, you were more than ready to dance some. You slid your empty glass back across the bar, straightened yourself up, and walked straight into the crowd.
It was intimidating a little. Being alone on the dance floor. But it was as if the DJ caught you hesitating and took the chance to suck you in when they played a low and slow beat as the song changed. And those hips of yours couldn’t help themselves again, so you just closed your eyes and slowly lifted your hands.
One song flowed into the other and you were lost in your own world. You brought one of your hands up, running along your neck then lifting your hair as it reached up and you twisted your wrist towards the ceiling. Your other hand had started to follow but then took a path of its own down and out to the side as your body continued to move to the beats that were consuming you. And just when you had almost lost all sense of your surroundings, you heard that whisper again from behind you.
“Although you clearly don’t need a partner, would you like one?”
The only way this man was touching you now was with his breath and it caused you to shiver as you slowly swayed and turned around to face him.
He was hardly moving, just slightly but it was almost as if he was waiting and holding back. You stood there for a minute, your hands lowering themselves as you cocked your head slightly and took the man in front of you in.
The purple hair was pulled back in a ponytail now, meaning a silver bar above his eye was on full display. His lips that had been speaking to you all night were up in a smirk that brought out your own without you knowing. His jeans were ripped and tight, his shirt white and loose but also low and you noticed his leather jacket was missing, exposing tattoos along his arms.
You took a step closer and his smile grew as you slithered one arm up and around his neck so you could lean into his ear.
“Only if you tell me the name of the man who keeps sneaking up on me.” you said, slowly starting to sway some more.
You felt one of his arms reach around your waist and tighten, pulling you up against him so fast you used your other hand to brace against his waist so you wouldn’t fall.
“Bobby,” he answered, moving the two of you along to the song that had begun to wrap around you.
Wrapping your arms more securely around him, you whispered your name back and then fell into the music with him.
You had been right. This room, this feeling, was downright intoxicating. And you didn’t mind in the slightest.
Bobby and you danced against each other, one song flowing into another. Sometimes fast, sometimes slow, always holding onto each other though. You found yourself gripping onto him more and more, making distance between you impossible.
You know push and pull? Well this was more like pull and pull. Your hand would run along his abs, feeling them twitch, and his arm would tighten around your waist in response. His hand would run slowly down your arm to brush your palm and grab your hand, pulling it up to his mouth for a kiss, and you couldn’t help your other hand that tightened against the back of his neck.
You trailed a finger down the side of his neck and then back up to his ear before brushing slowly back to the back of his neck again and you pressed his head closer. But the tease he was, Bobby’s eyes smirked at you as he was inches away from your mouth only to swerve and kiss along the vein beating just as loud as the bass on the side of your neck.
You’d been ready for a kiss. You’d been asking for a kiss. You’d been needing a kiss. But there? Everything inside you lit up and your lips let a gasp slip right into the pierced ear that was in front of them. And when his reaction was to slightly score that same spot on your neck with his teeth, you didn’t even have a moment to feel embarrassed when a moan came out next.
You heard Bobby take a deep and slow breath as he pulled back to look at you. He stared at you and his eyes threatened to burn you alive but you weren’t going to look away or back down. Holding his eyes, you pulled a fist full of his shirt to bring him close again and slowly brought your face to his.
Maybe a hair could fit between the tips of your noses and you could feel each other’s breath. You could tell it was like he was waiting again. He seemed restrained and on edge. And you were evil. You broke eye contact and lowered down slowly so you could press a kiss just off the edge of his jaw line. You felt his stomach as he slowly drew a breath in but that wasn’t enough of a response for you.
So, with your lips still against his slightly stubbled chin, you paid him back in kind and sucked in his skin before letting it pop from your lips. Pulling back, you waited until you were holding his eyes again before you slowly licked your bottom lip and then bit it.
And he finally broke.
Bobby pulled you off the dance floor, his hand holding yours as he stormed off. It was funny to you for some reason, seeing him like this, and you couldn’t help but let out a little giggle. Of course, hearing your laugh, Bobby paused and turned to look at you. You just smiled back and shrugged.
“You’re cute when you’re like this,” was all you could say.
Because then he had his lips on yours.
It was quick and rough. His one hand kept holding yours but his other was holding you to him from the back of your neck. It was so quick that he had backed away before you even had the chance to get your free hand on him.
“I need to find us somewhere private,” he said, before turning away and pulling you along again.
And then your back was against a wall as Bobby consumed you. The two of you were hidden back in a dark hallway and it felt like all bets were off as his hands were on either side of your face. You had one hand on his bicep and you were thanking your inner self when you felt your other hand already under his shirt, pulling him closer as if that was even possible to you.
Bobby broke off and dropped his forehead to your collarbone and let out a laugh as the two of you tried to catch your breaths.
“I can’t believe you actually giggled at me back there,” he said, pressing a soft kiss to the skin that was burning under the cold chain of your necklace.
“You were like a man possessed I’ve never seen anything like it,” you laughed out before pressing a kiss to his temple and rubbing your thumb across the stretch of skin at his waist.
Bobby lifted up and put his elbows on the wall caging you in. Your breath was caught in your throat and you couldn’t help but stare at his lips that were red and swollen and so so close to yours.
“You haven’t been with the right men then,” he whispered to you before diving back in. Before you even had a chance to respond his tongue was brushing along your lips and all you could do was sigh and open as you wrapped both your arms around his waist.
His kisses were pretty much always intense you were quickly realizing. There was no time to second guess yourself because the two of you were riding on pure emotion.
You tried to pull him closer but it was like there was no room, so without breaking your kiss Bobby reached down, grabbed your thigh, and lifted it around his waist as he nestled even closer to you. With your leg holding him to you now, you didn’t need both arms, so you took one arm up around his neck and pulled his pony tail down before diving your hand into his hair and pulling him back from the kiss so you could be greedy.
You kissed his mouth that pouted from you forcing him back, but soon it let out a groan as you moved from the corner of his mouth, to his cheek, to his ear, to that soft spot right below his ear lobe.
His mouth was back on yours then though, like it couldn’t stand to be away for too long. His hand was squeezing the exposed flesh at your thigh and giving you chills, so you sucked hard on his tongue, making him press you fully into the wall and gasp.
Things were spiraling. You were in some hallway in the club and you didn’t feel like you were going to be able stop, or that you even wanted to.
So maybe it was a good thing when a barback stumbled down the hallway with a box, startling the two of you off each other.
“Whoa sorry boss! I just need to squeeze past you,” he said, awkwardly trying to keep his eyes up while walking past the two of you to an ‘Employees Only’ area.
You were a little mortified. If Bobby hadn’t been slightly blocking you from view you would have been completely mortified as you started really thinking about everything the two of you had been doing and touch so openly in the hallway.
Bobby brushed some hair away from your face as you kept looking down at nothing.
“Y/N? Are you okay?”
His other hand trailed down your arm but it was comforting when you felt him squeeze your hand, like he was trying to get your attention back on him.
You looked up at him and were trying to think of what to say when the two of you heard a crash through the ‘Employees Only’ door and then someone say “aw f---!”
Bobby winced and said “Shit I should probably check on that” before he kissed your forehead and jogged back towards the door.
When he left so did all the warmth his body had been giving off and you felt cold and exposed. Your lips were tingly and your hair was tangled. Your legs felt like noodles, but they would have to work because you were overthinking the situation and only one word was clearly coming through your mess of thoughts.

Part 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 (Final)
Your heart was beating hard and loud, but it was like it stopped the second you heard the card click in the door and the knob turn.
Blowing out a breath you extended your legs some and put on a smile. But that smile quickly morphed into a smirk when you saw Bobby freeze.
“I think it would be a good idea if you closed the door behind you, Bobby,” you laughed out, recrossing your legs and drawing his attention.
Bobby closed the door and took a few stumbling steps into the room. But other than that he was speechless, so you had to take the initiative.
You got up off the bed and pulled your robe closed. You could swear you saw a pout on Bobby’s face, so you walked over to him and grabbed him by his hands. He kept stumbling some as you pulled him around to sit on the bed. The bounce finally loosened his mouth though.
“Y/N? Wha-? What is going on?”
He tried to reach out to hold you but you danced out of reach, backing up until you were leaning against the pole.
“I just wanted to do something a little different,” you started, pulling on the sash around your waist until your robe opened up. “So I planned a little surprise for you,” you said, shrugging the robe off your shoulders. “Do you mind?” you asked before throwing the robe right at his face.
While Bobby was struggling get you in his line of sight again, you hit play on the speakers by you and grabbed onto the pole that was now in front of you. As the beat started to kick on, you slowly leaned backwards until you could see Bobby.
He was sitting there, his fists clenching the sheets, mouth open, and eyes stuck on you.
Seeing that you had him right where you wanted him, you closed your eyes and let your body move to the music the way you’d been taught.
Your whole body heated up against the cool pole as you caught glimpses of Bobby. When you had hooked your knee on the pole and lifted your other leg to twist, Bobby’s hands moved from the sheets to his knees. When you flipped your hair to one side and rolled your body against it, you heard Bobby groan. And when you had your back to it with your hand keeping you steady as you dropped down and spread your knees, Bobby raked his hand through his hair and let out a “this can’t be real” under his breath.
It was kind of fun, seeing him lose control like that. And the longer you kept dancing, the more curious you got about how long he could hold out. You almost thought about putting that to the test, but when the song quieted down you decided you didn’t want to be that mean just yet.
You pushed off the pole and walked towards the speechless man that had quickly wormed his way into your life. You sat down on his lap, kicked off your shoes, and wrapped your arms around his neck to give him a quick kiss on his lips.
Bobby was still stunned though. His hands were out and grasping at air as he continued to stare at you with his mouth open.
“You with me?” you asked out on a laugh, helping him pull his arms around you and nuzzling into him.
“I- I thought we- I mean I didn’t expect when you said to- What?”
“It’s like I said,” you said, pressing another quick kiss to his lips, “I planned a surprise for you. I just wanted to make tonight a little special.”
Finally Bobby seemed to get his mind back as he lifted on hand to cup your face, brushing a thumb across your smile and up under your eye.
“Every moment I get to spend with you is special,” he said on a whisper as he pressed his forehead to yours and closed his eyes.
“So then I think it’s safe for me to ask you to be my boyfriend?” you said, feeling your cheeks heat up a little bit as Bobby’s eyes popped open to stare at yours.
“Yes! Of course!” he yelled, making you jump a little and then start laughing.
“Does that mean I get girlfriend privileges?” you asked when you could catch your breath again.
A big smile lit up Bobby’s face as he just said “You’re my girlfriend.”
“Yes babe I am your girlfriend. And as such I wanted to ask you to do something for me.”
“You know I’d do anything for you,” he said, pressing a kiss to your cheek.
“Perfect,” you said with a smirk before moving your arm to point at the pole. “Then strip.”
Leave it to Bobby to not falter at all. He stood up, holding you in his arms before tossing you back on the bed and running to the pole.
You were floundering around trying to right yourself while yelling “play some music too!” By the time you could hear a new beat and you were sitting up again, Bobby was waiting patiently against the pole with one hand holding the back of his shirt.
Seeing you staring, he slowly pulled his shirt over his head, only to speed up at the end and throw it at you while saying “payback.”
"Thanks, I have always wanted to steal one of your shirts,” you said with a smile, tossing the shirt off to the side of the room by your bag.
“I don’t think you’re focusing on the right thing. Let me help you,” he said, plucking the button on his jeans and then sliding the zipper down until they were hanging loose.
You gulped as your attention fell completely on that little V that you could taste on your tongue. You watched as it flexed and moved while Bobby walked around the pole. The V stretched when he did and rolled just as smoothly.
And then it was getting closer and closer and you could feel your cheeks heating up the longer you stared.
“Y/N, babe. My eyes are up here,” Bobby said on a smile as he took a finger under your chin and lifted your face to see his just inches from yours.
“Yes they are,” you started, lifting your arms around his neck, “but I want you down here.” you finished, pulling him down on top of you on the bed.
Bobby had his lips on yours and his hands were already making quick work of what little you had on. He slipped it over your head and took the opportunity to shuck his pants the rest of the way off. Grabbing you around the waist, he pulled the two of you up the bed until you felt your back crash into the pillows and his lips found yours again.
Not the one to ever just lay back when the two of you were in bed, or in a hallway, or on a couch, or the counter, or the shower, or...well never being one to just lay back when you were with Bobby, you hooked one leg outside his and flipped the two of you. Bobby was laughing as you landed on top and you helped comb some of his hair out of his eyes.
“Every time I’m with you is special to me too,” you said softly, leaning down to press a kiss to his forehead, then his nose, then his lips, where you felt him return the kiss.

Part 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 (Final)
After only a month of starting to see each other, you already knew there were a lot of reasons you liked Bobby. He made you more confident because he seemed fascinated but every part of you. He knew how to make you smile even when you didn’t feel like it. He could go from being the world’s biggest goofball to pushing you over the edge of pleasure with just a whisper. He was also driven and bright, and liked to challenge himself which you admired.
But whenever he asked you you always said it was because of his purple hair.
“You know the color will grow out and fade at some point, right?” he asked one afternoon while you were playing with his hair.
“And you know I can always dye it for you, right?” you countered.
“You realize we could only dye it for so long until it’ll either gray or fall out?”
“Who said I’m planning to stick around that long?” you teased, sticking your tongue out and then dropping a kiss onto his nose so he wouldn’t take you seriously.
Still, his eyebrows had a little frown mark and he wrapped his arms around your middle, mumbling something into your stomach you couldn’t make out. You asked him about it but he just started blowing raspberries on you, making you peel into laughs while he wouldn’t let you go.
That night, like so many others, ended up with the two of you wrapped around each other in bed. Bobby was the type who was an extreme cuddler when you slept, something you actually loved. It meant you could fall asleep securely and without having to flop around because he was normally holding you close.
Your face was smushed against his chest, just slightly turned, while his leg was slotted between yours and his arm was around you. Like whenever you stayed over on the weekends, you were in one of his worn out shirts. As if you didn’t already have his scent all around you when you were wrapped in his sheets, in his arms, but Bobby never teased you for wanting one more thing of his on you to relax.
You were laying there, ready to fall asleep, when you were thinking of those very shirts. You were trying to think what would be best: stealing one or asking for one so you could sleep easier throughout the week when it hit you.
Neither of you had actually asked to officially date yet.
It seemed obvious that the two of you weren’t just sleeping with each other for the thrill. You had plenty of sex, and all over the place, but the two of you were also just as comfortable talking about work or friends. You’d met everyone who worked at the bar at this point and, besides Bridget, Bobby had even wormed his way into dropping you off when you were having lunch with your sister when she was in town and at least saying ‘hi.’
Someone who only wanted sex wouldn’t do all that.
You weren’t worried, but if you were thinking of this, was he too?
It was a little harder to fall asleep that night. You could hear Bobby’s breaths had gotten slow and even, and it made you feel happy to hear him so relaxed with you. That wasn’t something you wanted to risk losing. So, while you were laying awake, you thought of a plan.
And you fell asleep with a smile on your face just imagining surprising the man who was subconsciously tightening his arms around you.
--
“So you can handle the drinks and the food?” you asked Jay while you were at the club while Bobby was working one night.
“Yes for the last time I can get the food ordered for you,” he said, rolling his eyes while double checking the reservation book.
“And Hanbin can cover Bobby’s shift?”
“Y/N if you quadruple-check all these details with me one more time I swear I’m just going to go tell him,” Jay said, glaring at you.
You mimed zipping your lips for a second and just leaned on the member’s club desk, until you eyed the reservation book and unzipped them.
“And you have a fake name in until I need you to change it?” you got out on one breath.
“That’s it!” Jay yelled. “Yo Bobby! I need to te-” he started as he stormed towards Bobby’s office.
“What?! No!” you yelled, running to catch him and slamming your hands on his mouth while pulling him back.
“I swear if you don’t keep this a secret and help me pull this off I will make sure Bobby doesn’t ever let you-”
“I won’t let him what?” you heard Bobby say, standing in his office door with a curious look on his face. “Y/N what are you doing to him?”
You and Jay just froze for a second and then sprang apart, mumbling things and you thanked the skies when the desk phone rang.
“I was just teasing him,” you said, walking up to Bobby with a tight smile.
He eyed you for a second, glanced over at Jay, but then must’ve thought better of saying anything about your weird behavior. Instead, he grabbed your hand and pulled you on into his office.
“Are you planning to hang out here all night?” he asked, pulling you to sit on his lap when he sat on the couch.
“Yeah probably, I’m getting a little tired and as fun as your couch can be it isn’t super comfortable for sleeping,” you said with a smile while wrapping your arms around him and leaning your head onto his shoulder.
“I’m off tomorrow. Hanbin needed to trade manager shifts.” Bobby said, running his thumb calmly on your thigh. “Want to go out to dinner? A movie? A walk? Another club? Night in?”
“It’s been a while since you and I had a night at this club,” you said, keeping your face hidden.
“You want to have a night out with all my coworkers? You sure?”
“Mhmm,” you answered, not trying to give too much away or lie. “Meet me here at 9?"
“Meet you? You don’t want me to give you a ride?” he asked, turning to look at you with that same curiosity that had been on his face earlier.
“I’ll be downtown already doing something, so it’s just easier,” you said, giving him a quick kiss and hoping that would stop all of his questions.
He was still looking at you like he could tell you were hiding something, but he just gave you another kiss and helped you find your coat, saying that he wanted you to let him know when you got home safe and that he’d see you tomorrow.
At home you could hardly sleep, constantly running through your plan and your routine in your head and double checking you had everything you needed to pull off your surprise.
Bobby seemed to sense your excitement the next day, constantly texting you emojis that really made no sense but it was just like he wanted to send you anything he could until he could see you again.
Around 7:30, you texted Jay to make sure Bobby hadn’t shown up at the club early to do any work, and when you had the all clear you packed up your overnight bag and headed downtown.
By now it was normal for you to bypass the line and just wave at June who was normally the one watching the door on the weekends. You grabbed the right door’s handle and waved to Yunhyeong too as you walked past the dance floor that gave you so many good memories and went through the ‘Employees Only’ door.
Jay was on the phone when you saw him, but he just turned the reservation book toward you and laid a key on top of it. You erased the fake name you had honestly spent too much time coming up with - Edith Cumberland - and wrote in Bobby’s name instead before grabbing the key and giving Jay a salute as you went to set up your surprise.
You walked into the room and slipped the key into the slot, lighting up the room and also turning off the CCTV because it was now occupied. You smiled to yourself, noticing the dark silky green sheets on a four poster canopy bed and the golden pole not but a few feet from the edge. You checked the fridge and saw it was stocked, just like you’d asked, so you took your bag into the bathroom and got changed.
Tonight may have been a surprise for Bobby, but it was just as much a treat for you. When else could you find an excuse to buy something like this? The green straps and lace hugged you as you pulled the matching robe closed before grabbing your high top converse and walking back into the main room.
You laced them up and practiced a little, since this pole was different than the one you’d been practicing with for the last few weeks. You had just stopped to grab a bottle of water from the fridge when you heard your phone go off with a text from Bobby that he had just arrived. You sent a thumbs up to Jay and then went to sit back on the bed.
You’d be lying if you said you weren’t a little nervous. By now you were just waiting for Bobby to make it to the back and Jay to hand him the other room key. You shook out your hands to shake off the nerves and did a few last minute touch ups to the way your hair was laying on your shoulders before slipping the robe halfway down.
“Showtime Y/N,” you whispered to yourself before blowing out one more deep breath.

“Y/N, you have to finally wake up babe.” you heard Bobby say while you felt a tug on your blankets.
Without thinking you grabbed them and rolled over, burrito style.
“Nooooooo just let me rest in peace,” you whined out, keeping your head firmly under the blanket.
“What if I told you I brought you food?”
You pulled the blanket down just a little bit so you could peak out to see if he was lying or not.
“Coffee too?” you asked, focusing on the food you could smell from under the covers.
“Of course,” he said with a big smile, bringing a cup out from behind his back.
You shimmied up the bed until you were sitting up with the blanket tucked firmly under your arms.
“Gimme!” you said, reaching for the coffee.
Bobby sat on the bed and went to hand it to you and then set the plate on your lap which made you laugh when you saw what was on it.
“You went out this morning?” you asked, starting to unwrap the breakfast sandwich.
“Yeah,” he said, smiling and rubbing at the back of his neck. “I’m not a great cook and figured I shouldn’t poison you if I want to keep you around.”
You just made a humming noise as you took a bite out of the sandwich to hide your smile. But then you realized just how hungry you were and all of your attention was on that sandwich and your coffee.
Bobby shook his head a bit at you and got up, pulling off his shirt and shucking his pants across the room before turning back to the bed and grabbing the covers. You quickly set your coffee down on the table beside you and holding the covers down on the bed.
“What do you think you’re doing??” you asked, putting your plate down too so you could also grab the covers where they were...well...covering you.
Bobby looked at you with a smile and said “getting back in bed! It was cold out and I want to warm up.”
He tried pulling the covers again but you had a tight grip on them.
“You know I saw everything last night right?” he continued, pretending to pull on the covers and making you flinch each time.
“Yeah, but I mean it’s so early, and bright!” you tried to fight back, feeling a blush start to spread from your ears.
“You weren’t this shy back at the office...” he said, releasing the covers and standing up from the bed with a smirk on his face. “Or when we came back here and you pulled the ice cream from my freezer and asked me to lick it off your-”
“Okay okay!” you yelled out throwing a hand out. “I may be just a bit shy remembering.”
“Really?” Bobby said as he backed up to the end of the bed. “Even remembering when you got curious about what I had stashed here and ended up tying my hands to the headboard while you-”
“Bobby!” you screamed, pulling the covers up over your head so you could hide away.
It wasn’t a great hiding spot though when you saw Bobby lift the covers at the end of the bed and come crawling underneath the covers up towards you. You yelped out and curled your legs up underneath you and popped your head back out of the covers so you could hold them flat against your chest, trying to cover as much as you could.
But then you felt Bobby’s hand grab one of your ankles and pull it out, starting to kiss your foot, then your ankle, then your calf, working his way up as he slowly pulled your other leg out too.
“Bobby, what exactly are you doing?” you let out on a shaky breath.
“Having breakfast,” was all he said before he took both of your thighs around his head and pulled you down the bed into him.
--
It was hours before you were able to get out of bed. Well, crawl was more like it.
“Where are you going?” Bobby said, clinging around you with a pout on his face as you tried to shake him off.
“I need to take a shower,” you said, slithering out of his arms and narrowly avoiding when he tried to grab you again.
"I could join you you know,” he said with a smirk, starting to move out from under the covers.
“Oh my gosh how do you have this much energy?!” you laughed at him as you walked towards the bathroom.
“You like it!” you heard him yell from behind you, laughing too.
“I’m locking the door now go get us some lunch!” you finished, hearing Bobby mutter something like “what a woman” through the door.
You were glad you’d locked the door because it gave you time to really think back on everything that had happened over the last night. You felt ridiculous but you could not keep the smile off of your face.
After the two of you had melted every last ice cube in his office, it was like the pent up tension that had been tight between you guys since the first time he’d whispered in your ear had been released. You could remember coming down from the high and starting to laugh as Bobby joined in and was brushing the hair out of your face, saying things like “holy crap” and “i will lock any door you tell me too.”
You’d started to get shy then too, but he’d only held you to him and made you feel all warm and fuzzy. You’d nuzzled into his neck and laughed when he just whispered “sooooo cuuutteee” before he’d kissed the top of your head.
After that you’d texted Bridget and told her not to wait for you to leave the club. Bobby continued the tour, telling you more about how he got started and why he liked to split up the club so many different ways. It was impressive, getting to see how driven he was and how much the club was an extension of him and the workers were like family.
The two of you talked and walked around the club for a few hours until he could see you getting a little tired on your feet. But you hadn’t wanted to go home, so you’d hopped on the back of his bike to go back to his place. The rush of that ride and holding onto him that close had set something off in you again, so as soon as you’d walked in the door you politely asked if he had any ice cream. It had been a fantasy of yours for a while and it was an even bigger treat seeing Bobby go from being all excited for ice cream and movies to even more excited when he learned why you really wanted the sweet treat.
“That damn ice cream though,” you said under your breath, scrubbing the sticky mess that was still stuck to parts of you.
You washed up as best you could though and by the time you were stepping out of the bathroom you felt replenished. Not willing to put a club dress back on though, you just grabbed the baggy shirt Bobby had thrown back on the floor earlier that morning before finger combing your hair as you walked out to the kitchen.
Bobby was dancing along in just some low-sitting jeans, pulling out some bowls while a pot was boiling on the stove.
“Mmmm,” you said, sitting down at the island. “That smells amazing. I thought you couldn’t cook?”
Bobby lifted the lid on the pot quickly, but instead of saying ‘Ta-dah!’ he yelled out “Instant Ramen!” with a big grin that you immediately matched.
He divided it into bowls for each of you then came around the counter to set it in front of you, placing a kiss on your neck as he did before sitting down next to you to eat his own.
“You have any plans today?” he asked between slurps.
You hopped up to get a glass of water for each of you and said “absolutely nothing, besides checking in with Bridget probably. Why? Did you have something in mind?” you finished, turning back with the full glasses to see Bobby staring at your legs.
“Well I did,” he muttered out, still distracted until you waved the glass in front of him until he grabbed it. “I was actually going to see if you wanted to go to the movies, but now I’m not sure I even want to leave let alone get dressed up to go out.” he finished, running his hand up your thigh to play with the hem of your shirt.
Well, his shirt you were wearing.
“Behave the food is hot,” you said, playfully slapping at his thigh. “And I have to go to work tomorrow so you can’t spend another 12 hours exhausting me.” you finished, kissing his cheek to soften the blow.
“Fine fine,” he muttered, going back to his food. “We could ask Bridget and Prince Song if they want to go to the movies with us if you want? Double date may be safer than just you and me alone in a dark theater, even though I still make no promises.”
“You want to double?”
“Well only if you want. And if your friend is comfortable. But you saw the two of them last night, and Yunhyeong can be reserved sometimes it might help to give them both a little push.” Bobby said, picking up his bowl to drink down the last bit of broth.
You just stared at him for a moment or two, surprised honestly at how well the two of you were getting along. The sexual chemistry was insane, but he was also so easy to talk to. You normally loved your alone time, but you found yourself jumping at the thought of hanging out with him for the rest of the day.
“Did I get something on my face?” he said, catching you staring and wiping around his mouth.
You shook your head, smiled, and then leaned forward to give him a simple kiss on the lips. You leaned back and licked your lips while he watched.
“Mm, spicy.” you said, before getting up to pick up the bowls and put them in the sink to wash. “I’ll call Bridget in a bit to ask, but I think a movie sounds good.”
Bobby came up behind you at the sink and wrapped his arms around your waist before setting his chin on your shoulder.
“Its a date then,” he whispered, before starting to hum in your ear while you kept doing the dishes with what you were sure was a huge smile on your face.
