For once everything was working in your favor until the past comes back and bit you in the ass. Is there anyway you can ever move on or is there a reason behind this?

The first two people you weren't expecting to see right away were the first ones who seemed to catch your attention. . .
Both Bobby and Mino were together side by side.
Seems like the two got a lot closer since you left their lives...
You noticed their presence right away, but they didn't seem to notice you… At least yet. It was better this way. Although they are from the past you wanted to avoid speaking to them because, to be honest, there isn't much to say.
"Babe," Jiyong suddenly calls out, interpreting your thoughts. You looked over at him and smiled.
"Yeah?"
"This is one of my old songwriters I would like you to meet," you quickly looked away from Bobby and Mino and looked right at Jiyong.
Everything is so much more different than it was 5 years ago. Everything is much better now.

Bobby's Point of View
"One drink doesn't hurt anyone," I said to Jinhwan as I picked up the cup of wine right in front of me.
"Just don't forget we have to wake up early tomorrow for a photoshoot,"
It was too late to stop myself from drinking. When Jinhwan said those words, I already had the cup touching my lips and the wine going down my throat.
Lately, work has been busy. Whether I'm doing activities with the members or doing solo promotion, I haven't had a chance to catch a break.
Tonight, although I'm in my work environment, YG managers decided to throw a celebration for the idol's success and for us to be able to move past the scandals we had to encounter.
"Listen after the amount of stress we had, I deserve this drink,"
"He has a point," Donghyuk says, agreeing with me and I lifted my glass of wine to him, and we both took a sip.
"Did you see Jiyong walk in, he came with a mystery woman," Junhoe suddenly blurts out and we looked at him.
"Anyone, we know?" Hanbin asked and he shook his head.
"She looks familiar, but I doubt we know who she is," we all looked over Jiyong's direction and there I saw the unfamiliar lady guest he suddenly invited.
I couldn't see much of her since she was facing the other direction. But he must be dating someone new.
"Bobby," I looked over to see Mino and Seunghoon calling me over from the bar section.
They lifted a shot glass in the air, and I looked at Jinhwan.
"Well, you know I can't stop you," I smiled and before I walked over to Mino.
"How did you know I needed one,"
"Because you and I are one," Mino says as he hands me the shot glass.
"Wow that was so romantic," Seunghoon blurted out and we all laughed before we threw our heads back and allowed the alcohol to fill our bodies.
"Did you see Jiyong come in with a new mystery girl?” I asked Mino. He begins to scan the room and spots them right away.
“Yesterday we met up to catch up and he did tell me about how he’s seeing someone so I’m assuming that’s his new girlfriend.”
“Have you met her yet?” Mino shook his head and we all shrugged it off and it wasn’t long until I got another glass in my hand of alcohol.

Your Point of View
You were feeling slightly anxious after seeing Bobby and Mino walk in. However, for the most part, you haven’t seen them since the moment you walked in.
Jiyong, has you roaming around the whole room meeting people left and right.
Catching you completely off guard he instantly began to introduce you as his girlfriend. You didn’t bother correcting him if anything you just went with the flow.
“You know it’s been a while since I’ve seen Jiyong smile this big,” his producer says as he taps his shoulder. You looked over at him and see him from ear to ear.
“Why do you have to put me on the spot like that,” he says, suddenly turning into a light shade of pink.
You were surprised to see him react this way. Every time the two of you are together, he is always confident. He always takes control, always knows how to tease you, and make you feel shy. But the roles have changed tonight.
“Well, I’m glad I can be the one to make him react that way,” you said, sending a wink in his direction and before you know it he places a hand on your waist and pulls you close to him.
“Don’t forget to invite me to your wedding. I want to be there and be like I witnessed him fall in love before my very eyes” you looked over at Jiyong and instantly pulled him to a quick kiss.
After hearing all of this and seeing how he was reacting suddenly made you like him a little more. The truth about your situationship with him is you thought it was just going to be casual fun until one of you guys got bored, but he was starting to like you… and you were liking him too.
“Let’s go get some drinks and celebrate!” His producer suddenly blurts out.
“Celebrate what?”
“That’s a good question” we all laughed and walked over to the bar.
“Babe, what do you want to drink?” Jiyong asks you and before you could even answer you suddenly got caught off guard.
“Hey, you didn’t tell me you were coming,”
You recognized that voice….
Mino…
SHIT
You quickly looked at the bar and decided to order for Jiyong and you as he entertained his friend aka YOUR EX.
“Yeah, I wasn’t planning to come out tonight but I wanted to introduce someone to a few people so I decided why not,” You could hear Jiyong respond, and you suddenly felt your heart beat out of your chest
Oh no, this is the part where HE INTRODUCES WHO YOU ARE.
“Is this your mystery girlfriend everyone is talking about?”
Before you know it Jiyong taps your shoulder and the moment you look at Jiyong you make eye contact with Mino and just from the facial expression he looks beyond speechless.
You were probably the last person he was expecting to see. It's been five years since all of that happened… You were wondering how he was planning to react in the situation…. But he seemed lost in words, so you decided to help him out.
“Hi, it’s nice to meet you,” even though it was beyond awkward, you bowed and just simply smiled.
Fake it till you make it.
To be honest you weren’t sure if Jiyong remembers that Mino and you used to date. And the last thing you wanted to do was explain yourself and your situation, so you decided to act dumb and act like you don’t know who Mino is.
“Y/N meet Mino. Mino meet Y/N.” Jiyong says smiling, not catching on to the fact that Mino looked like he had just seen a ghost.
“It’s nice to meet you,” Mino awkwardly blurts out and you just continue to smile.
To cut the awkwardness short, the drinks show up in front of you and you look at Jiyong.
“Here you go”
“Thank you, baby,” he pecks your lips and instantly throws his head back, and takes the drink in.
You glanced over at Mino and noticed how his eyes were still glued on the two of you…
Oh, this night was going to be interesting. You can already tell.

Mino’s Point of View
Y/N was the last person I ever expected to see in YG. After the breakup, I didn’t bother getting into another relationship. Instead, I decided to just go on dates and sleep around…
But I would be lying. I was to say I didn’t think Y/N even a little bit.
Plus, she is kind of hard to avoid thinking about the moment her clothing line began to become popular in Korea.
Seeing Y/N come into this party with Jiyong and kissing him in front of me made me feel suddenly confused.
When did this happen…? Does Jiyong not realize that Y/N and I used to date… I had so many questions I wanted to ask but instead of asking, I went to look for Bobby instead.
I’m not the only one who’s had a past with her.
I walked over to Bobby’s table and noticed him laughing with Hanbin and Jinhwan.
“Bobby,”
I called his name and he looked at me with a huge smile on his face. He won’t be smiling for long.
As soon as I got up to him, I wrapped my arm around his shoulder and lowered myself to his ear to talk to him. There was no way he would be able to hear me with the music and everyone talking plus I didn’t want to scream it out loud.
“What’s up?” Bobby asks me confused.
“Y/N is here.”
“What?” He looked confused.
“Y/N is here. She’s Jiyong's girlfriend. She is the mystery girl he brought to the party”
“What?” We both looked over at the bar and now had a clear view of you and Jiyong.

Bobby's Point of View
The last person I was ever expecting to see in this building again was Y/N. But here she is with someone else...
The last time we spoke was five years ago leaving things on bad terms. I won't lie after that night happened. I always wondered what could have happened if Y/N told me how she was feeling... Would things have been different?
I have moments where she randomly appears in my mind that I have no control over. I have no idea why she's just someone I can't forget about entirely.
"Is that Y/N?" Donghyuk suddenly blurts out and all the other boys looked in the direction Mino and I were looking at.
"Is she Jiyong's new girlfriend?" Jinhwan asks.
I looked away from the two and looked at the boys.
"Probably. I mean good for her," I grabbed my cup, and without saying anything else I just began to drink again.
"Are you planning to say hi to her?" Yoonhyung asked and I looked at him.
"You what that sounds like a good idea, I should say hi to Jiyong anyways," usually I am the type to avoid situations like this but after having liquor courage in my system, I felt like sitting back and doing nothing wasn't an option.
"Uh, do you think that's a good idea?" Hanbin asked me and I just smiled.
"I don't see the harm in saying hi,"
"Well, I'm warning you now, she will act like she doesn't know you," Mino warned me but it was too late now I was walking over to the two.
As I was approaching the two, they seemed inseparable. Jiyong was behind Y/N with his hands on her waist whispering in her ear. But she would move away from him and smile.
She seemed happy with him... Very happy...
I stopped halfway and was planning to walk back to the boys, but it was too late.
"Bobby," I heard my name being called and I looked at Jiyong and saw him smiling in my direction. I instantly looked over at Y/N and was expecting her to avoid eye contact with me but instead, she did the opposite. She looked directly at me and had no facial expression even seeing me.
I walked over to the two and greeted Jiyong, unsure whether to greet Y/N or not.
"How have you been?" Jiyong asks, starting a small conversation.
"I've been good just dealing with a busy schedule. Nothing out of the ordinary you?" I continued to look at Jiyong and noticed that he hasn't bothered removing his hands off Y/N... For some reason seeing this bothered me.
"I've decided to come and take a visit before I come back to the studio and start making music again,"
We continued with the small talk and as we spoke, I was anticipating for Jiyong to introduce Y/N to me.
"Oh right! Babe I would like you to meet another good friend of mine, Bobby. Bobby meet..." Before he could finish his sentence, I decided to cut him off.
"Y/N, right?"
I looked right at her waiting to see her reaction, but she remained calm.
"Yes Y/N, it's nice to meet you," She didn't seem bothered one bit.
"Do you two know one another?" Jiyong asks, looking a bit confused.
Since I couldn't seem to catch her off guard, I decided to just let go of the situation. What's the point?
"She's a famous designer, who doesn't know her. I'm a huge fan," Y/N simply smiled and looked at Jiyong.
Something has changed about her... Y/N had this confidence that is different from before. She looks unphased and happy... She was a whole new person.
"Sorry to cut the conversation short, but do you maybe want to dance," she asks Jiyong, and he nods his head and smiles.
"I'll see you around," Jiyong says before he heads off to the dance floor with Y/N.
After seeing Y/N after 5 years I didn't expect myself to still have small feelings for the girl. To see her happy with a whole other guy is bringing back memories of when she was with Mino...
I walked back to the boys, and they all stared at me
"How did it go?" Junhoe asked me and I just shrugged.
"Exactly how Mino said it would. She acted like she didn't know who I was," Jinhwan passed me a cup and I looked at him surprised.
"I know you're going to need it... After all, you did like the girl," I grabbed the cup, looked at the door floor, and saw them dancing, smiling at one another.

Your Point of View
To be honest you were proud of yourself to keep your calm after encountering both Bobby and Mino. Was it awkward to see your ex and your ex-situation ship...? Of course, it was.
However, everything that happened between the three of you happened five years ago.
That's all in the past and you doubt that they even care about your existence now. They were probably just caught off guard to see you come back to YG but that was about it.
Tonight, you were having fun being with Jiyong. If anything, he made you realize that everything happens for a reason. There is a reason why Bobby or Mino didn't work out with you and maybe that's for you to meet the right person who's in front of you.
"Babe, I'm head to the bathroom," He nodded his head and you walked off.
As you were walking to where the ladies' room was, you noticed someone bumping into the walls.
Someone looks like they had too much to drink.
You looked around wondering if anyone was noticing but everyone was lost in their little world. You looked at the person again and noticed them lose their balance.
Regardless of who it was you couldn't help but instantly react and walked over to the person.
As soon as you walked over to the person, you made eye contact with the one and only Bobby...
Awkward.
You pushed the awkward feeling away and grabbed his arm helping him up.
"Are you alright?"
Bobby looked over at you and after helping him up he removed his arm from your grip.
"I'm fine. I just feel the room spinning,"
Clearly, he wasn't okay. You looked around the hall and noticed a set of stairs.
"Let's have you sit," although he removed your grip from his arm, you grabbed on to him again and just held on just to make sure he doesn't fall again.
As you reached the set of stairs, Bobby sat down and looked at you.
"Stay here. I will get you some water."

You two sat there in complete silence after handing Bobby a water bottle you managed to find.
You could have easily just handed Bobby the water, go to the bathroom and go on with your business but you couldn't seem to leave Bobby alone until you knew he was okay.
Regardless of Bobby and you ending things on bad terms, you were always going to care about him.
"Do you feel a little better?" You asked Bobby and he looked at you and smiled.
"The boys are about to lecture me when they see me,"
"Were you not supposed to drink?"
Bobby took the last sip of water he had in the water bottle and looked at you.
"Well, they agreed I could drink but not overdo it. I have to be up in early,"
"Oh."
You two sat there in silence and you weren't sure what to do now.
Should you excuse yourself and look for Jiyong or should you wait to see what Bobby had to say... You were just confused about what to do next.
"So Jiyong and you huh, I didn't see that coming," at last Bobby comments you dating Jiyong.
"Neither did I, but with life, you never know what to expect,"
"Y/N," Bobby suddenly says your name and you looked at him.
"Do you think things would have been different if we didn't end things the way we did five years ago?" you were surprised to hear Bobby ask a question like this.
But then again, he had liquor in his system. This was the alcohol speaking.
"Maybe things could have been different, but everything happens for a reason," the situation was done and over with. Bobby and Mino are now a part of your past and Jiyong is more like now.
"Can I ask you something?" you were low-key scared of what he was going to ask.
"Ask away,"
"After that night, why didn't you try contacting me?" You weren't expecting to hear a question like this come from Bobby. If anything, it caught you off guard.
Was Bobby expecting you to contact him after everything?
"It was pointless. If you didn't want to hear me that night, what makes me think you wanted to hear from me at all..." you started to explain yourself, but you suddenly stopped yourself.
"Anyways the past is that past. I want to push all that behind me. Let bygones be bygones. I want to move on and I'm sure you do too... So, we're alright... Right?" You asked Bobby and without saying anything he just looked at you.
"Bobby?"
"Yeah... Sure,"
It wasn't convincing but that response will do...
You get up and Bobby suddenly grabs a hold of your hand.
"Don't you think I-" you instantly cut Bobby off and removed your hand from his.
"I didn't come back for you.... our situation ended a long time ago and I'm not the reason behind that. It was your decision, and I respected your wishes... I'm sorry," you had to stop Bobby before he said anything else.
"You're right..."
You felt bad because you felt like you were being harsh to Bobby, but you couldn't help it.
"You should probably go back to Jiyong... He must be looking for you," Bobby says and you awkwardly nod your head.
'You're probably right... See you around Bobby,"
You two looked at each other one last time and you went to look for Jiyong.
That encounter was the last thing you were expecting to happen...
But when it comes to Bobby and Mino you should expect the unexpected with them.
