Do you remember those fanarts with Yurio as a "fairy" and Otabek as a knight? Good. That was perfect for my fantasy to explode.
Imagine Viktor, king of this kingdom made of ice and snow (who would reign in a kingdom like this btw? Maybe it would be good for winter holidays) and he's handsome and everyone is attracted by him... until he gets annoyed because those old men of the court keep telling him to get married, since his age is suitable for that, and if he doesn't want to get married the throne will go to someone else.
Theoretically, Yurio is the heir to the throne, but Viktor falls in love with Yuuri, our lucky katsudon, who is just a poor boy of the country (not so poor inside, since he gets to attract the most beautiful and desired man of the kingdom and NO ONE KNOWS WHY)
Yurio is OBVIOUSLY against it, but he isn't the only one who wants to be king (except Simba but okay). JJ and Chris, for example, could claim the crown - JJ with his fiancèe and Chris would be sooo glad to marry Viktor - because they are princes of kingdoms nearby.
Phichit is Yuuri's friend and wants him to marry Viktor, more than Yuuri actually wants to... at first. Same goes for Minami.
Some others like Seun Gil, Michele etc try to get some advantage by this story, without much success, and eventually support Yuuri.
And then there's Otabek, who doesn't give a fuck about all that and just wishes secretly that Viktor and Yuuri get married, so that he can stay with Yurio.
But the story isn't over: instead of ice skating, the characters have POWERS. Just think of Eros and Agape: Yuuri and Yurio could have opposite powers and eventually help each other at the end of the story.
Date #pliroy: in a 70's style restaurant some elements are based on a fanfic "cohete a Rusia" ☺️ (I still have to improve the setting)
