Good news guys, I got the job!!!

The other one would have been ok, but i would have hated it(it involves working with children and im just not great with kids unless its one on one, although kids typically do like me)

This one is at my favorite thrift. It's for profit, but they do parter with some greay groups

They do not let you buy things for 3 days after they've been priced, but hey, I need that long to convince myself if I really need things or not

At least now I can keep a good eye out for any cheap mobility aids I need(she said i was allowed to have a friend buy the stuff for me, I juts wouldn't get the discount, lol)

looking on Indeed daily through 10 pages of part time and 10 pages of full time jobs feels like a job in itself.. once done it is such a relief to just leave it all in God's hands. Applied to 2 more jobs so.. 🤷‍♀️

I got a new job!

I'm a certified medical assistant at a recovery clinic. It's pretty good. I get paid almost $20 an hour. It's pretty awesome. My supervisor is really good.

However, I might have also signed up to her sneezing a bunch in the future.

She kept sniffling and running at her nose the whole time she explained the rules.

I have a new Job! A pure Administration Officer role for a Care Company.

I did an interview yesterday with a company that really interested me but I realized how many applicants also applied and how I am probably competing against other candidates with more advanced qualifications than I am. I was told at the end of my interview that they will be choosing one candidate this Friday so if I don't hear a call back by then, that means I was not chosen.

I decided to leave it to faith. Of course it would be an awesome opportunity working for this company but I don't want to keep my expectations too high, for it to be possibly broken. I woke up this morning, preparing for breakfast when I got a text from the HR, saying they wanted to follow up after yesterday's interview and I was confused since I remember hearing that there will be no follow ups.

They called me and announced that I got the job offer! It caught me off guard since I really wasn't expecting any, knowing that there were over 1.3k applicants but here I am! I was so worried that I wouldn't be getting a job anytime soon because I've been applying to everything and everywhere hearing no response from them.

Very excited and nervous about talking on a new position and my first full time job. Hoping everything goes well from here on!

p.s I ended up rejecting the job offer from the previous employer, knowing that it'll probably ruin my reputation in his perspective but now that I look back on it, I wouldn't want to work in that kind of atmosphere.

07.26.2021 // job hunt update

I heard back about that preservation position I applied to and I’ve been offered an interview! I’m so excited and nervous. It’s on Thursday and they’re even sending the interview questions ahead of time so I won’t feel as stressed. If you have any interview tips lmk!
