When Pa Kent was in the hospital (He had cancer) it was Alfred who convinced Clark to go and visit his father for a few days.

Bruce had tried to do that for a month but they would end up arguing.

Alfred’s good with words, especially words that deal with comforting a person. I can see Bruce trying hard to comfort and be there but some people are just...not able to be the person that the other person needs. As much as that hurts. It’s true.

Since Clark stopped going to the church (due to pa kent’s death) on Sundays he spends 40 mins in space just watching the universe.

I would just like to say that no church is only 40 minutes long. If a church was ever 40 minutes, church would be so much easier. Second, I understand Clark’s thinking. Even if Clark no longer believed, it was still something he did for his family. It hurts.

Bruce feels jealous of Clark when he was able to introduce his family to Ma and Pa. Bruce would give anything to introduce his family to his own family.
