I know everyone headcanons that Kung Lao is kind of dumb, but what if he's actually super smart, and he just does that so he has an advantage on everyone else??

Or imagine if he doesn't hide his smartness and just :

Kung Lao : It's impossible to bite down unless you specifically hold your lower jaw in place and force your head downwards. So actually, you bit up.
