Initial consonant mutations of P-Elvish
The characters in brackets show how the phoneme is actually written if different to the International Phonetic Alphabet symbol; i.e. [b] is written as <b>, so nothing in brackets; the phoneme [ð] is written as <dh> so 'dh' is written in brackets. The same applies to the other phonemes.
The Soft Mutation is the same as Welsh - pretty much due to the fact that P-Elvish has a very similar phonetic inventory to Welsh. The Liquid Mutation is completely my own idea - I just like how these changes sound when they follow a liquid consonant ([l] and [r]) and the Nasal Mutation is somewhat from Welsh ([b] > [m]; [d] > [n] and [g] > [ŋ]) but I didn't want to include the Welsh unvoiced nasals, so instead I have unvoiced plosives become voiced.
Also <ph> is only ever used to write the phoneme [f] when it's a result of mutation. All radical instances of [f] are written as <f>; i.e. farth (green) /farθ/, but pêlh (white) /peːɬ/ would theoretically become phêlh /feːɬ/ if it were to undergo liquid mutation.
