So, I'm trying to make a home made Jos Louis, which is a red velvet cake with, inside, an icing a bit like marshmallow and then covert in chocolate.
So I did the red velvet (too much, hence the small cakes) then "carved it" to give it a more rounded shape (hence the cake scrapes) and then made homemade marshmallow (the wall of white icing).
Now waiting for all of this to set then... Chocolate ganache (the real stress!)
It's not for me, it's for a friend birthday. I hope it'll be good. For reference : this is a Jos Louis.
Je suis en train d'essayer de faire un gâteau Jos Louis maison, c'est-à-dire un gâteau Red Velvet fourré d'un glaçage un peu comme de la guimauve et recouvert de chocolat.
J'ai donc fait le Red Velvet (en trop grande quantité, d'où les petits gâteaux), puis je l'ai « sculpté » pour lui donner une forme plus arrondie (d'où les restes de gâteau) et j'ai ensuite fait de la guimauve maison (la couche de glaçage blanc).
Maintenant, j'attends que tout cela prenne, puis… Ganache au chocolat! (l'étape qui me stresse le plus...)
Ce n'est pas pour moi, c'est pour l'anniversaire d'une amie. J'espère que ce sera bon.
