Played The Mound last night with my SO.

If any of you remember the Yogscast doing videos in a game where you took a boat through the ice of a Northwest passage themed map? It's kind of like that, except jungle, and the jungle is your bad guy, as opposed to a teammate.

It was fun until I had a heartbeat in my headset for too long and it overstimulated me to fuck.

But I digress. There's an achievement in game for head-shotting the first guy with a thrown spear. And I'm about 10 ft away the guy so I try it. "Okay, so it's like in (Sons of) The Forest. Aim and *throws*."

First throw, first game, achievement pops.

Guess I still got it.

I have one of these and I keep it in my IT toolkit because that teeny little screwdriver is the right side for laptop casings, but because it lives inside a large object it’s harder to misplace than a standard tiny screwdriver. Also because the look on a client’s face when you bring out a brass hammer to fix their laptop is absolutely wild.

my mom is in fact aware that dandelions exist. she temporarily forgot the name and there was some miscommunication.

she’s aware dandelions look like this

she is familiar with this flower. she knows the name of this flower. she declines to believe, however, that these are also dandelions

she does not believe these are the same plant. I tried to explain, and she thought I was either misinformed or lying. so I asked her what exactly did she think the yellow ones were called?

she answered, with complete confidence: Daffodils.
