God or Universe?
Lately I have found myself reading diverse spiritual books. I was turned on to a couple of them by a video in which Wayne Dyer shared some of his insights from reading these books. I ordered them and started digging in. The Impersonal Life by Joseph Brenner, The Way Out & The Way Beyond by the same author and The “I AM” Discourses by Saint Germain Press. Now I will be the first to admit that…

Inframan aka The Super Inframan
This was Hong Kong producers The Shaw Brothers' attempt of doing a superhero movie; in fact, the original title translates roughly as The Chinese Superman, and the poster used the Superman logo. Naughty! Actually the film does most of it's pilfering from somewhat closer, as it very obviously borrows a lot from Japanese tokusatsu fare, with Inframan looking a lot like Kamen Rider with Ultraman's colour scheme (and one of his finishing moves). incidentally, isn't Inframan a bit of a rubbish name? Considering the etymology, he's technically "Underman".
This is the American trailer, and it's a joy to watch. Not only does it get across the sheer non-stop insane action of the film (seriously, the film is an utter joy to behold), it's the narration that makes this perfect. "The Ultimate in Science Fiction" - wonder what Clarke and Asimov would make of that. "The Man Beyond Bionics!" - I see what you did there. "Six million light years beyond believability!" - I get the Six Million reference, but what does that even mean? This is an awesomely silly trailer, for a perfect cheesy movie, which was actually a guilty please of Roger Ebert's.
