So... what exactly is a killjoy?
Killjoys, in short, are the rebels of the city. They have no complete “end goal” (other than to show the citizens of Battery City the truth).
Still, according to Gerard Way, anyone can be a killjoy. They’re the band, the fans, and everything that lays between.
All you have to do is rebel, really. Killjoys live in a world of black and white so they wear colors. Do the opposite of what you’re supposed to. Live for the cause.
Then, of course, put yourself out there. Go wear those funky clothes and pick a wicked name. Be yourself with no apologies.
