so all the fanfic on ao3 for princess bride consists mostly of the world/story being used for other fandoms

a few fezzik/inigo slash (or some other maleslash)

like 5 fics taking buttercup/westley seriously as it is presented in the film (and two do somehow enrich it)

and

about 9 that either genderswap or give buttercup the agency she thoroughly lacked in the film
