One of the most #helpful #books I have read is #JudgmentDetox It said how we start #judging everyone and everything, in few words, because we 'separated from love', as cheesy as it may sound 😅 One day you are #soulmates and months later you can't stand each other 🥲 Why is that? Like they said in 'I may destroy you' TV series, 'we want to deflect what is hurting us', so we raise our ego 😡 In the book #TheRoadLessTravelled it said when we meet someone, 'our ego collapses', so we do everything for the other person. As a sample, I use a soap bar. A partner liked a handwash plastic bottle. When she moved in, I bought a handwash plastic bottle for her. But she bought me a soap bar dish Afterwards, anything can cause annoyance in a relationship The problem is, the minute we raise our ego, the other person will retaliate, as I tried to explain in my previous video #TransactionAnalysis 🔍 Our default might be the #rebelliouschild answer, until we realise that #anger is simply a #defensemechanism - leave the kid at home. The adult can answer.. In any good #relationship you would see them lowering their ego. It's not about #winning or being walked on. It's about not letting the ego raise the wall of separation. ———— How many more videos do I have planned, I hear you say? Quite a few, as my creativity is unlimited, and my perseverance is even stronger. #Repost @gabbybernstein with @get_repost ・・・ This morning I got a nasty DM from someone. She wasn’t very nice. My ritual is to forgive and delete. I honor anyone who chooses to attack. After writing Judgment Detox it has become clear to me that when we judge others we’re really judging a disowned part of our own shadow. Whatever we resent or dislike in another person is a reflection of something we dislike in ourselves or a representation of a deep wound we’re unwilling to heal. Often other people trigger our wounds. We judge them when this happens instead of accepting that the discomfort is really about us. If you find yourself judging someone today think about what experience from your past may be triggering your judgment now. Take ownership of your judgment rather than justifying it. Judging may feel good at first but deep down it’s not who you truly are. You are kind, compassionate and loving. Your purpose is to spread that love. #bekind #judgmentdetox

Suspend all judgment. • Being judged negatively by someone who does not know your story is one of the most painful things we endure during this life. If I could get even one person to STOP 🛑 before they judge someone for frivolous reasons I will be so grateful. • You may think someone is a mess, or that they don’t live up to your standards, but you likely have no what they are going through. A lot of people may look at someone like me and think I’m a mess. The truth is, regardless of how our lives look from the outside, people like me have to go through the world and act “normal” through layers and layers of trauma that have been a constant source of pain since childhood. My thought for today: Allow others to work through their difficult times without giving them any additional pain by passing judgment on them. • I highly recommend the book #JudgmentDetox by one of my favorite authors @gabbybernstein.
