ʚɞ ゛Caregiver Ratchet ⸝⸝.ᐟ ゛

Ooo, I love the caregiver Ratchet concept !! I'll probably do something with Jabber later on, when I have an idea. Also, I dunno how good this'll be, I don't like how I usually write headcanons, but I hope you guys do !! Hope you like it !!

Ratchet is more like an uncle carer, or a grandparent, but he'll go along with whatever nickname / title you choose. Even if at first, he's confused and unsure, he'll accept it eventually and respond to it.

He is fairly grumpy, although it always comes from a place of worry and protection. He'd always be a bit over protective with his little one, never letting them get near any sort of trouble -- him staying in the base most of the time meaning that he'll be able to keep an eye on you.

He always wants his little one to be safe, so he's very worried about his projects and equipment hurting them. He trusts himself, but his station is fragile and he doesn't know how sensitive little humans are accurately. He does his best to keep the two separate as much as he can.

He's very strict too, he does his best to make sure his little one's in the best shape they can be. He'll do his research on humans, and make rules based off of them ; eating 3 meals a day, sleeping enough, and exercise. If his regressor has problems with any of them, he'll try and find a way for them to still get it done.

If they have any needs or disabilities, he'll do his best to accommodate them. He can't help with everything, being several times larger than humans, but he'll do his best with what he can.

If he has a little one that wants to help, he'll be pretty stern about how dangerous it could be at first. He'd tell you why, say it could hurt you and you'd be safer not touching it, but if you persist, he'll make a project he's sure you can help with. Having you sit on his desk, and having you help with small things.

He'll pick you up from school, work, or home, wherever you are, and give you rides around places. Most of the time, it's just back to base. He's a busy bot, he has things to do, but you are very important to him, more so than his projects, so while he'll stand firm most of the time, he'll be lenient others.

He also doesn't mind babysitting, so sometimes, he'll be watching some of the group or the other bot's little ones, and you have a friend then! He'll always prioritize you, and if you get upset or have a rough day, he'll be firm about you being the first concern to him.

Also, forgive me, I'm rusty with headcanon writing, been about 3 years since I did it properly. But here we go !!

ʚɞ ゛Vanessa ⸝⸝.ᐟ ゛

Vanessa is a flip, heavily regressor leaning, but she does try her best to caregive for Gregory! Even when she's regressed, she does her best, becoming basically a big sister to him regardless of her mental age.

She's a bit of a jitterbug when it comes to caregiving though, although it does fade with time and practice. At first, she's so unsure of everything! Is he uncomfortable? Is this place safe enough for him, or should she move him to another softer area? Does he want a pacifier or bottle, or is he too big for that? She ends up asking Sun and Moon for a lot of help -- especially Moon, since I imagine he's better with the infant and tots.

She regresses from around 4-5 to closer to 13 at times, often being an even middle at around 7-8. She's a bit more independent because of it, but she'd be lying if she said she didn't need a good bit of help when regressed -- and not -- especially with managing her stress and self care (eating, drinking enough water, sleeping, general hygiene, ect.) She does have a sticker chart to help with it though !!

She's a very anxious regressor, liking to be around someone most of the time. She has very bad abandonment anxiety, which makes shows especially hard for her, but Sun to the rescue !! To be rather blunt though, she'd probably be dropped off with him even without the anxiety because she can be a very active and troublesome kid, her creativity going a bit wild if you don't control it. (She's 100% colored on the walls at some point, or at least on some posters that were supposed to be sold.)

She likes colors, no specific hue. Pastel, neon, dull, bright, as long as it's colorful, she doesn't care! Although her favorite colors are blue, green, and pink, purple being one of her least favorites for some mildly obvious reasons.

ʚɞ ゛Gregory ⸝⸝.ᐟ ゛

Gregory's very young, and very ashamed of it. He regresses from as young as 4-8mos to closer to 3-4 years old, but he still hates every second of it when he's big. He's under the impression that he should be big, strong, independent! He might still be a kid, physically too, but he was homeless and survived! He survived killer robots, he survived harsh winters, he'd survive this without regressing too.

It never lasts though, he pushes him too hard for a few days and then he doesn't care any more, he wants his mamas & papas and his sissy. And a bottle of warm milk too, for good measure.

He almost always regresses involuntarily because of this too, and every time he 'goes big' again, he's ashamed and puffing about, even as everyone tells him that it's only natural, and he's been through a lot, his brain is only trying to help. He's starting to believe them, but it'll take a lot of time. Not that they mind, they're only worried, and they'll be by his side as he learns.

He's also a padded regressor, having incontinence issues when he's regressed. When he's older, it's usually only when he's sleeping and a pull up, but when he's younger, it's a coin toss on if he'll be alright without padding or not. He acts like he hates it, but he won't admit it's a bit comforting to know that Vanessa and the others accept him down to the most "gross" parts of him and his regression, and a bit comfortable to feel so small in them too.

He's very clingy too, loving to be held and cuddled. He will cry, and he has cried, if he's put down for just a minute too long. He's just so little, dang it, he needs all the loves! He demands them! hehe

He's also regressed most of the time. Well, not entirely. He's at least a bit regressed when he's relaxed, say he's around 11-12 in universe, he'll be regressed to maybe 7-8 when he's relaxed. It's a lot more often than it used to be, and it's mainly at the Pizzaplex, at Vanessa's apartment, or more specifically, in the daycare or Freddy's greenroom.

Summary:

Rudo learns about a new custom of the Ground, getting classified as one of three things; a regressor, a caregiver, or a neutral. At least, that's the basics of it all. He's not sure how to take it, but he takes the test anyways, needing the cleaners for information to fuel his revenge.

He's even more confused when he gets classified as a regressor, especially when he's told that he might be the youngest in the cleaners. Now, he has to manage his unsure emotions, and learn how to accept this part of himself with Enjin, Zanka, Riyo, and everyone else. They have his back, no matter how scared it feels to trust someone to intimately again.

Yess, August !! He'd be an awesome caregiver !! You didn't specify what you wanted so I'm hoping my babbling will suffice. I'll do my best, and I have a few ideas for some other things involving him. Who knows, maybe that'll be next hehe :3 I didn't do just sensory issues, but also some general caregiver stuff, hope you don't mind.

August can be really loud, and playful. He's perfect for high energy times, and despite how busy he seems, he's always down to take a break and play with his little one.

Whatever his tiny is sensitive to, he'll do his best to work with. Noises? He'll quiet himself, and make you a custom set of headphone or earplugs! Foods? He'll find whatever foods you can eat and keep whatever's shelf stable in his workshop. Textures? All of the 'bad ones' gone, or hidden! He'll never work with them around his lil' artist.

He'll 100% have a play corner of his office, or at least toys. His projects are his pride and joy, but so is his kiddo, so both are in his own place. He'll have so much stuff for his little, and even in the organized mess, it'll always be easy to find -- at least to him.

If you're an artist, he'll definitely have you help with designing people's masks and outfits. Even if it's just doodles, he'll praise the work like it deserves to be praised and find inspiration in it somehow. His regressor is his biggest assistant.

If you're one of the cleaners that goes out and does missions, he'll be sure to hype you up beforehand! You got this, rock your [redacted]! Your papa/bubba is proud of you, he'll be here waiting to see you and hear all your sick stories about the mission!

If you're not, he'd definitely be down to chill while he does his work. If you're clingy, or feeling little, or just tired, he'll let you nap on his lap and leaning against his chest. He can totally do at least some of his work around a tiny, and his music can be turned off for a bit, or put through some headphones.

He has his own schedule, which his little one will probably have to follow. If it's too sporadic, or weird, he'll do his best to adjust, but it mostly just takes a hot minute to get used to. He'll help however he can there, and for sure be down for routines for each transition period. He'll help with getting ready for baths, bedtime has a story and a drink, he'll help get ready for missions or just the day. Whatever your routine needs will become apart of his.

He's better with one or two little ones over multiple ones or babysitting, and while he can do it for a bit, he prefers to focus on his tinies and his alone, so you'd get absolutely spoilt. Especially because he'd make you anything you want between projects.

I wrote something stupid. All my years of writing has led up to this very moment. This is SO funny to me. It came from a joke in a server, btw. Just for context 😭

I should draw this as a dramatic comic...

A kid sits down at a chucky cheese. A waiter walks up to him and asks what he wants. "A chocy milk please," He says, lowering his story book. "With a stripey straw." The waitress looks him up and down. "I'm sorry, sir. I'm gonna need to see some ID," She apologizes. He huffs, reaching over and digging through his daycare bag before handing her a card, almost identical to the card his mom puts on his crayons and safety scissors.

She looks it over, sighs. "I'm sorry sir, you need to be five for this." He slams his book down, glaring, "Nuh uh!" He stands up on the booth, "I've never had this problem before, I'm a big kid!" The waitress sets the card down on the table, looking regretful. "It's new policy." "This is unfair!" He stomps his foot. "If you keep acting unruley, we're gonna have to put you in time out," She says, getting stern. He thinks for a second, weighing his options.

He sits down after a moment, huffing. "Fine," He crosses his arms, "Make it 2%. ..And the straw swirly." The waitress smiles, nodding and writing it down. "Right away, sir. Thank you for listening." She then walks away
