Part 2. Charms / Jujus Used in Real Hoodoo.

These jujus are some good ones to have if you like these kinds of of charms.

What Is A Juju? It's basically an object that was one alive and has been infused with a particular type of energy, It can be bone from an animal or bark from a tree etc. They can be powerful. (For more on this see my post on juju)

The best way to spiritually work with anything in nature like a juju is to study its character and undertand its natural power.

All items need to be properly activated.

Monkeys Paw That is naturally harvest is used for good luck and gambling, moving in a out of places unseen.

Coyotes Paw is good for protection. Taking hexes off buy rubbing your self with it. Kind of like a chicken claw. It can trample on your enemy and it can be used for hexing.

Rabbit Foot. Carried as a Good Luck charm, to ward off bad luck and bring in good luck.

Rattle Snake Vertebrae. Or any snake vertebrae is good for protection and is good juju to add in a mojo bag because sometimes you need an active object for better protection. Remember what said about the oil snake don't always harm the protect as well.

Alligator Teeth Or Foot. Like the Rabbit Foot, These are good for luck. These charms have been around in the south for a long time and as been apart of my hoodoo & voodoo heritage/community.

Hey, you know how only one Juju can exist in a Timeline? And trying to replicate one will either lead to one of them getting lost, or be unfeasible due to other reasons?

Ok so I think this is interesting

you CANNOT select a PLAYER(that’s categorical; no caveat to it), but it’s INTERESTING that it takes the time to ALSO say John finds it “meddlesome” and rejects it, implying Player agency matters to the act. Obvsl it doesn’t, allowing a Playeranchored cursor to MOVE the Player would be super-unbalanced & let you go anywhere, but John also refuses to be cursored; also implying that, even if you theoretically could, he wouldn’t let you.

This feels kinda similar to Homestuck’s later concept of destiny, inevitability, agency, and timelines to me? Like: possibilities aren’t infinite because Players define the set of actions they WOULD commit&consent to, thus limiting possible futures, and these limitation are, themselves, Systemically baked-in.

Also: thinking about it super-lightly just now; the juju at the end is kinda cursory? Like: the abilities it grants seem very Cursorish.

You can touch(click on) any object in the story/game

It can save files(suck up characters) and load them(barf them out)

it lets you move to any point in the story/game and alter events

There’s also the implication that Lord English is some result of Caliborn merging with the characters HE gets sucked into the Juju with, tho we dont see a similar merging with the B1Kids in the Epilogues, so who knows what’s up with that.

Sinto falta de me sentir atraída por alguém. Today on Theorystuck: Jujus

I think that the lolipop jujus actually have an important role in the Homestuck narrative and here's why:

They were the smaller example for the real time big powerful jujus. They basically served as an explanation about jujus and to show the effect of them. So what did we learn?

We learned that jujus come in pairs. Those pairs are very important and alone they might not mean much, but when they come together, that is when we see the jujus' true effect.

We learned that there are many jujus, and when you get one, you should keep it, because it's valuable. But there is one pair of jujus that are THE pair of jujus. The ultimate jujus. And in compared to them the lolipops are NOTHING.

When the lolipop jujus combined the results were a complete disaster, and we got an entire act dedicated to how incredibly awful it is. And this pair of jujus were the nothing pair of jujus right?

So if freaking trickster mode is nothing in comparison to what happens when big time jujus meet. What would happen when the biggest jujus in the whole story like, oh I don't know, Lord English and the House trapping the souls of the four beta kids in it, meet?

I'll tell you what.
