The sweetness hits his tongue and his head reels. For a moment, he is certain he has settled the barrel of his gun in his mouth and licked the gunpowder from it before pulling the trigger. Monty pulls his D-ration out of his bag and throws it at Steve,"Better you than me. Better you than the ants for that matter."
"I'm not kissing you tonight if your breath smells half as bad as those taste," The Soldier says. The guys erupt in laughter. The Soldier in his memories laughs too. Bright and clear and joyous. Howling Commandos live?!
I am actually wondering if there has been anyone that made stories where we get the story of the other howling commandos somehow get the bucky/steve treatment and somehow find a way (immortality, frozen, time warp, etc.) to be a part of the modern day or even if they are from the canon present.
