When Junior first met Apollo, he was the only kitten in his cage at the pet store. Every time he went to play with one of the cat toys, the bigger cats hissed at him so that he would drop it. But Apollo never did. Even when he got pounced on and swatted at, he held on to the toy as hard as he could. That toy was what he wanted, and he wasn't letting go. Junior admired that fighting spirit in the little cat

Chucky's killing spree begins to strain Jake and Junior's relationship. At first, Junior was okay with Jake spending a lot of time with Devon, mistakenly thinking they were going on dates. But his annoyance begins when he notices Lexy accompanying them as well. Lexy had always hated Jake, and Devon never liked Lexy, which leaves Junior confused about why the three have suddenly started hanging out together

I can definitely see that, it really starts bothering Junior and he feels like he’s being left out

Jake and Junior did have a rivalry, but it was very brief and only when they were younger children, at an age when you see adults as “perfect” and listen to everything they say. Their rivalry was similar to how Gomez and Fester Addams describe their own past rivalry, where they would choke each other to the point of unconsciousness, tie each other to objects, pull out teeth, and even remove internal organs while the other was asleep. However, like Gomez and Fester, they eventually outgrew it and became each other's best friends

Like most cats, Jake and Junior sleep belly up when they feel completely safe and relaxed. Jake adopts this position much sooner than Junior because he no longer lives in fear of Lucas. Junior rarely sleeps belly up, not because he doesn't feel safe with Grant, but because he is very reserved about demonstrating trust, even in moments of comfort
