Started to figure out why certain shows bore or annoy me, even when there’s more reasons for me to enjoy them than not:

I really like shows that have overarcing stories and themes. Something that connects the threads of the individual episodes or character plots. A driving theme that kind of defines the show a bit, even if it’s a bit corny.
