Kink content, don't like don't read (AKA scroll past)
There's just a few of these, but the post seems long to me for some reason, so I'm putting a read line. Satisfying the inner formatting desires.
[1] It's been a while since I last looked at Albedo content, so I'm not entirely certain if it's ever mentioned if he does actually need to eat, despite being made of chalk. However, one thought that's been lingering in my head for the longest time would be Albedo drinking water.
Just like with food, I'm not actually certain if he needs to drink water/liquids at all. However, I do know that chalk is soluble (aka it dissolves) in the vast majority of consumable liquids, and that it bubbles and produces CO2 when it does dissolve. As such, when he does eventually drink something, I imagine that Albedo would soon just be left with a vaguely uncomfortable, bubbly feeling in his gut as the liquid causes the chalk of his stomach to slowly dissolve. Plus, maybe he'd get gassy because of the aforementioned CO2 production and bubbling.
In general, I can't imagine it'd be a particularly comfortable experience (although an interesting one to study - one he'd probably conduct a few times, to locate differing variables and causations).
[2] He's the Chief Alchemist. Sometimes, things go wrong or unexpectedly in alchemy(/science). Considering the amount of time* he spends alone(?) up in Dragonspine or elsewhere, it would be reasonable to assume that sometimes the only subject for him to test with is himself. As such, if something turned out wrong with something designed to be consumed, he'd have to deal with the consequences it has on him, himself.
*Long enough that there's note of it taking time for him to return.
Additionally, there is the simple factor that he is a homunculus, so formulas that may react alright with humans could have a much more intense reaction on him (or vice versa).
(However, on an inverse situation, I would like to remind you on the canonical experimentation done with the Traveller)
[3] Perhaps it's a bit basic, but I think he'd struggle somewhat with burping. You know when it feels like a burp is stuck in the base of one's throat? Yeah, that.
[4] Ignores his stomach's rumbling when it's not inhibiting his ability to move or do anything. Perhaps it's noisy, but it's not holding him back any from continuing with his work.
It takes other, truer humans around him, getting food typically at the first noises, for him to eventually, occasionally acknowledge and appease his stomach early into its vocal expressions.
[5] Noisy tummy specifically when hands are laid on it. Others or his own, hungry or full, it's basically a guarantee that whatever noise was being made by his stomach before pales in a volume comparison to when it's being touched.

I'd like to think that in the early days of being a cyborg, Boothill had to experiment with what his newly adjusted stomach could and couldn't take, and what sort of things did or didn't affect him anymore.
One of the first things he tested were probably liquids, as that was the consistency of the things that were technically all he really needed to sustain himself anymore.
The gas and oil he uses as fuel tasted horrid every time - he quickly learned to just directly input them into his fuel tank, lest he want to deal with possibly puking the dang liquids back up.
Water made him feel weird, and really the only purpose anymore is to make his mouth not as dry sometimes. Otherwise, all it does is slosh around and stiffen the metal around his gut with its generally cool temperature.
Thank fudge that he can still get buzzed from alcohol. Even if he can't drink as much as he used to before, he still likes the option to indulge in the feeling of it every once in a while. Helps with the shittier days, that's fo' sure.
Soda is horrible. Just slightly above gasoline and oil in his mental rankings because it tastes better, but son of a nice lady does it mess with his tank. The carbonation consistently manages to fudge with his fullness gauges, and the plates around his tank are always left irritatingly strained and groaning for hours after from the aforementioned carbonation.
Juice tends to vary, and he doesn't have it very often to begin with, so there isn't much of an opinion for him to make. Despite that, he decidedly doesn't like the citrusy ones - the acid in them usually unsettles his tummy too much for it to be worth drinking.
Coffee itself doesn't do shirt beyond making him stay up longer, but espresso shots - on the few times he's tried it, that is - never failed to make him miserable. Within less than an hour he'd typically have to duck into a dark corner or similar to cradle his gut as it churns and squeezes horribly, his limbs trembling and twitching in such a way that he's learned over time to not let himself touch or hold much of anything. Not unless if he wants to abruptly crush something with little to no control over 'when'.
In practice, soup is just like water but warm or hot instead of cold. But it reminds him of his life before, so sometimes he'll indulge in it a bit anyway. Just on the particularly bad days, when he can't bring himself to fully get up for a shot or five of whiskey.
A fair while after getting somewhat comfortable in his new body is probably when he started investigating solids - like his bullets, because darn if the extra ammo isn't nice to have at times - and actual foods. Just to see if he could.

Okay, so, I'm currently working on a really-fucking-long headcanons post. Due to certain aspects of the post, I remembered that I had these deep within my notes app.
As to why they're deep in my notes? Well, they were simply never allowed to see the light of day, as the blog that I dumped them into the inbox of (as an anon) got deleted before they ever got posted/replied to.
Why was I anon posting large amounts of headcanons despite literally having a blog?
Simple! My confidence was (and still is) absolute trash.
I still sometimes headcanon dump under an anon name from lack of confidence of doing it on my own blog-
Anyway, Headcanons are under the read line. For the most part, I just directly copy/pasted from my notes app, including my greetings to the blog that I had originally sent these to - I just removed the anon signature that I used.
Mind the tags, but that's a given with kink, no?
Hihi hello, yes I’m still alive, and don’t worry about how long you might take! I’ve been fading on and off Tumblr anyway without the ability to ramble about making my current-favorite ship suffer in their digestive issues.
Anyway, time for me to dump whatever I come up with on you! Probably more Kavetham, because I’m still vibrating in fluffy enjoyment.

Travels to other nations sometimes, just so he can observe the architecture. Yes, he does bother Al-Haitham into joining him for quite a few of them (Acting-Grand Sage period = work break!).
Will go on random spiels about architecture, sometimes rambling for hours without end.

Most common victim to these rambles is Al-Haitham, not that he minds.
Did I mention my lactose intolerant Kaveh headcanon yet? Because that definitely exists deep within my mind.
It gives him bubbly guts, and with that comes a whole slew of gas, both with those hard-to-release burps and numerous farts.
He’s usually just left in discomfort for the rest of the day, though sometimes he’d end up bloating fairly heavily.
Too embarrassed to go out into public when he does bloat, usually ends up shutting himself into his room under the pretext of working on a blueprint. In reality, he’s curled up on his bed, miserable.
Al-Haitham eventually shows up due to the odd silence of the house (since Kaveh’s not being his loud self, which is very rare and very concerning, in Al-Haitham’s POV).
Doesn’t even bother knocking, considering it’s his house anyway
Only slightly off-put by Kaveh’s positioning.
Kaveh notices the rude intrusion, but simply ignores it beyond curling slightly more around his bloated stomach.
He does, however, acknowledge Al-Haitham’s presence when he’s literally dragged out of bed.
Turns out, for some inane reason, the younger wants him to taste-test a dish he’s cooking.
He complies, of course; pointing out that there’s not enough salt in it (and quietly complaining over the lack of spice, but that’s a losing battle with Al-Haitham, for multiple reasons)
The entire scene actually distracts him from his earlier sulking, and soon enough he’s seated with the more-salty dish and adding assorted dashes of spices to the otherwise bland dish.
Never actually realizes that Al-Haitham had distracted him until he’s in bed that night, about to fall asleep.

I brought this up on my first-ever submission to you, and I’ll bring it up again: Al-Haitham vs. Liyuean food.
From what I can remember, most of Liyue’s native dishes have spices in them. Specifically, Jueyun Chilis. Which are apparently one of the spiciest food ingredients currently in existence for the Genshin world.
(Description pulled from game) “…Merely smelling it makes one hot and thirsty…[The spiciness] makes people want to run to the highest peaks of Jueyun and cool their mouths with chilly air.”
Perhaps he’ll do some forward research about Liyuean dishes so that he knows what to avoid, but maybe he’d end up pushed into trying one without knowing beforehand.
Kaveh would likely be distracting him with one of his rambles over Liyue’s architecture - who probably wouldn’t immediately realize that the dish had chilis in it.
Instantly realizes his mistake the moment the heat actually hits his senses, but it’s already too late.
Cue the various ‘realization’ reactions:
Trembling so much that even Kaveh notices.
Uneasily resting a hand over his stomach, just waiting for the first upset gurgle to break out.
Small anxiety tics, like being unable to keep his eyes on a specific spot for even a small period of time.
Visibly cringes with the first noises his stomach starts to make, already trying to muffle it to the best of his ability.
Did I mention that they’re eating out in public? Because this is the scene that my brain’s generating.
Holds in his gas, simply because of his own embarrassment of having to deal with his… ‘intolerance’ in public.
Of course, that motion only worsens his situation, since his abdomen starts to bloat up from the trapped gas.
At some point, Kaveh prods into Al-Haitham’s internal panic, inquiring to the younger on ‘if he’s alright’ and whatnot.
Al-Haitham would glare at him for even bothering to ask such a thing, if he had the willpower to.
As it is, he simply bites out a small, almost ashamed-sounding “It has spices in it.”
I’d like to think that they’ve definitely known each other long enough for Kaveh to know the foreboding realization on just what that means.
(…Me realizing that I never did list out my eructo headcanons for Al-Haitham, which I will definitely do at some point!)
Al-Haitham getting startled by a sudden, breathy burp, which brings up another taste of the chilis, at which point he ends up downing an entire glass of water in one go in order to cool his mouth for even a moment.
The sudden influx of a fair portion of a rather cold liquid does his stomach no favors, as the unsettled organ continues to audibly gurgle alongside the sloshing from the amount of liquid in it.
Perhaps while all this is going on, Kaveh manages to take charge and pay for their short meal, packing up the spiced dish for himself and rounding the table to try to get Al-Haitham up so that they can be somewhere more private than whatever diner they’re currently at.
Al-Haitham moves slowly, noticeably paler than usual as he struggles to simultaneously hold in his gas, muffle the various noises his stomach is making, and make it seem like he’s having no such issues to the average passersby.
Kaveh ends up carefully leading him back to where they’re staying, since the younger’s too distracted with his intestinal distress to pay much more attention than the bare minimum.
Probably ends up resting on a semi-comfortable chair near the bathroom, cradling his stomach as it truly starts to kick up a chili-induced storm.
Harsher gurgles, leading with equally (if not more so) harsh cramps.
Since he’s not dealing with public embarrassment anymore, he does actually begin to let out the bubbly farts produced from this mess.
Some of them simply refuse to come out, keeping him bloated as he desperately tries to rub and press in an attempt to just get it out. (He doesn’t even care that Kaveh’s present, it hurts too much for him to try to bring himself to care about that minor fact.)
He can’t stop shaking. Be it from a generalized discomfort of his current situation, to the stress and nerves getting to him, his body simply will not stop trembling.
Kaveh probably would end up prying in to try to help Al-Haitham at some point, inevitably pushing aside one of the younger’s hands to be able to get his own hands on site, in order to finally be able to properly help.
In one timeline, maybe Al-Haitham eventually gets pressed with an urgent need, leading to him rushing into the bathroom and… dealing, with the rest of it himself.
In another timeline, maybe he doesn’t get that sort of agonizing relief, as his stomach continues with its raging gurgles, cramping and churning all the way until he perhaps ends up just passing out from the pain of it all.
Nah bc I just headcanon-formatted an entire story or so in the span of a few hours.
In celebration of the fact that I'm back into KNY (and thus making this blorbo of mine suffer), I've decided to post my HCs regarding Tomioka Giyuu in the context of sickfic.
Thusly, him as either a sickee or a caretaker.
Sickee
- Strikes me as the type to just keep pushing on, no matter how severe an illness may get to him. He usually ignores others' requests/demands for him to stop and rest, and he will constantly try to leave if they force him to stay and rest.
- Even while sick, his senses/instincts are as sharp as ever. Really the only thing that changes is that his body temperature is higher than normal, and his usually still posture turns to slightly swaying. However, the swaying does not affect him when he's moving in any way.
- So long as he keeps moving - even if he's just walking - no one usually notices he's sick. One may notice if they make contact with his skin though, due to the increase in body temperature (Unless if you have super senses. i.e. Tanjirou, Zenitsu/Uzui, Inosuke, etc.)
- Usually, the only thing that stops him is when his sickness gets so bad that he passes out. Which always seems to be in a danger zone - whether that be an active fight against a demon or on the side of a cliff. Luckily, there's almost always someone capable nearby, where he can be taken to the butterfly estate or similar and be nursed back to health... to the best of their ability.
Caretaker
- Takes the task as another mission: doing it as carefully and blankly as possible. Although, depending on the person (or ship), his attitude may be different.
- Regarding sickee(s), it depends on their personality(ies). While usually steadfast and unchanging in its methods, water also changes its flow to match the shape of something else. Giyuu is similar.
- If the sickee is harsh and notably stubborn, he may push back with just as much stubbornness, to make sure that they recover fully and his 'mission' is complete.

- First of all, you cannot convince me that this man is not some sub-variant of a workaholic. And you know what so often comes with the workaholic stereotypes?? Self-neglect :D
- Personally feel as if Al-Haitham would do the basic necessities that would only result in distracting him from his work if left unkept (i.e. various bathroom needs)
- He would view hunger as a secondary, able to easily ignore it. After all, he can basically consider it the headache of his stomach, and he’s worked through many headaches before, so he can work through the hunger pangs too.
- Generally, his stomach is pretty silent, all of the ‘growls’ he experiences making little to no noise.
- If his stomach starts to make actual, noticeable sounds, he might remove his hearing aids just so his reading won’t be interrupted by the incessant noises.
+ You can’t convince me those ear accessories are not hearing aids.
- Pressure against his abdomen tends to elicit louder growls, paired with sharper hunger pangs compared to usual. As such, he’s taken to having his chair a bit farther from his desk than is standard.
- Holds himself more stiffly, finding that being slumped is often a bigger pain than any value it may have (it hurts more).
- When asleep, he has a tendency to curl up, hands unconsciously pressed against his empty stomach. It doesn’t matter if he’s laying down or sitting at a desk; a sleeping, hungry Al-Haitham is a curled Al-Haitham.
- Pressure = growling though, so he wakes up somewhat frequently to a long, drawn-out whine from his stomach, assuming he still has his hearing aids in. If not, then it’ll likely be a hunger pang that wakes him instead.
- I like to think that sometimes, he absentmindedly swallows air when he’s hungry, almost like he’s trying to falsely convince himself that he’s comfortably full.
- While he is full (of air), it’s not exactly comfortable, the swallowed air usually just causing him gas and an increase in the amount of painful cramps that he experiences.

Despite his primarily cybernetic body, he can actually process and digest regular-person foods. It just proceeds at a far slower rate than when he possessed a fully-organic body.
Basically he's full for longer, hehe
