The Petty Man Sleeps in a Familiar Bed.

Lucifer royally pisses Alastor off so he gets freaky petty.

Alastor(Slamming the table): That’s it! I'm gonna sleep with your brother!

Charlie(Tired): Why . . . Just why would that be your first option?

Lucifer: Ha! Even if he wanted to sleep with anyone, I doubt it'd be your tacky ass.

* * * *

Alastor comes to breakfast the next morning with a dazed look and bite mark on his face.

Alastor(Spaced out and staring at the ceiling): I was just bluffing. I didn't think it'd work.

Lucifer(Already forgot): what?

Alastor: I slept with your brother. 

Lucifer: WHAT? You . . . you can stop joking. I know you didn't. . .

Michael walks in shirtless and covered in his own blood. He goes for the coffee maker.

Lucifer(Refering to the hotel): When the fuck did you come in here?

Michael(Straight faced): I wouldn’t exactly say I came in here. (Points in the general direction of Alastors room) I came over there.

Lucifer(Trying not to lose his shit): Didn't you say you would only sleep with someone you planned to marry?

Michael(Completely deadpan and taking a sip of coffee): I took this man's virginity so now I'm gonna take his hand in marriage.

Angel Dust(Desperately): By everything holy in this world, please, I need to know who topped. 

Alastor(Embarrassed): I hardly think that matters!

Michael(Honestly): I did. He was very pretty.

Alastor: Not helping, Michael!

Lucifer: How did you even meet him?

Alastor(Grumbling): He came down to survey the hotel after the battle and caught me storing angel meat in a cooler 

Michael: I gave him some recipes to maximize juiciness and blood retention.

Charlie(Horrified): You have recipes for that?

Michael: Cannibalism is not as bad as you think as long as it's not in excess and the body is not wasted. I've eaten my fair share of angel flesh. We exchanged methods of using leftover bone.

Lucifer: How did he even convince you to sleep with him?

Michael: I watched him stuff his face with angel meat and dragged him to the bedroom. His bloated belly was very arousing to me.

Lucifer: God, you're such a freak.

Michael: Yeah, at least I have someone to be freaky with, Lucifer. (Giggling) How’s that whole missing wife thing?

Alastor: You know what? I don’t think I mind getting married to you. How many kids do you want?

Its the tried and true time travel back cause the world ended situation.

I'm feeling like it would be nice to make Michael and Alastor reluctant allies at the start.

Its not that they can't get along its more that there was no time to get to know each other better.

All they know is that the other guy is competent and have the same goal and that's good enough.

Michael is reborn as himself but the hiccup happens when Alastor is reborn as the second woman.

Michael was assigned to Adam and Alastor to make sure they're protected and try to help where he can in making sure things go smoothly this time.

I want there to be so much sexual tension between Michael and Alastor that everyone is half expecting they'll elope too.

They're not wrong that the two of them are developing feelings but the two in question just think they're being good friends.

The secret meetups are just their way to strategize ways to make sure the world doesn't end again.

Adam is so bitter expecting to be dumped for the beautiful angel again. lt doesn't help that Lucililith are being openly lovey dovey whenever anyone does see them.

Michael notices how it looks and takes a step back from the situation. Alastor is quick on the uptake and keeps distance too. Both are miserable but trying not to show it.

Ironically, its Adam that helps them get together. He appreciates that they didn't just elope unlike Lucililith but the pining was getting too much even for him. He lets Alastor go on his own volition.

God takes pity on all 3 and creates Eve for Adam. This marriage is happier since Adam went through some good character development via Alastor not taking his holier than thou misogyny lying down and Michael being considerate.

Michael and Alastor now have to contend with people asking them for relationship advice, convince the other to fall in love with them despite being all but married and prevent the end of the world.

Ooh I love this idea!

I especially love the Adam character growth of him watching his wife fall in love with another man but stay away from him out of loyalty to HIM, but see it makes her miserable so lets her go - and as a reward he gets a wife who won't leave or fall for an angel, she stays and loves him and has children with him, and he gets to still be friends with them!

And now, Michael and Alastor get to work on saving the world! And also getting together, when everyone thinks they are already together.

Summary:

Lucifer was unsurprised when he finally dragged himself away from everyone with every intention of having a good, old-fashioned breakdown and panic attack only to find he had several magically sent letters as well as texts from the other Sins demanding a response. Of course they would have felt that change in the air, that sense of something new making itself known as it grew and added to the ambient energies of Hell. The feeling of a new Sin. A new Ring.

A new King.
