jily week 100 word drabbles

day one - fluff/angst day

He is always a blur of motion. Fingers at glasses, knees bouncing, hands in hair; to see James Potter at rest is to see his corpse. When he is recruited for the fight against Voldemort, pawns biting at the ankles of giants, the waiting is his ruin.

Lily is late returning from patrol. No one tells him not to worry. Not when the time stretches further; not when she stumbles through the door, clothes torn, skin bloody; not when she’s healed and laid to rest, head heavy on James’ shoulder.

They’re losing the war. Her hand in his is enough.

Basically there was this photo Daniel posted that made it look like he was featured in JW2 and I took it and ran

I joked saying that Kirill had regenerative abilities or was immortal because of his obvious death in JW1; thus ending up with the instance that Kirill ‘died’ for a while and regained enough consciousness and strength to live another life

Now the RedStairs comes in because I made a scenario where Kirill and Chidi are friends, however, Kirill can’t help but yearn for him even knowing that the feelings aren’t reciprocated. When Kirill ‘dies’, he takes that chance to become a new person that Chidi might actually like this time around ‼️

That’s a really shitty way to explain it but I don’t remember what I wrote the first time 😭

Still frustrated with Jurassic World for dragging out Zara’s death but barely giving a shit about Hoskins. Sure, sure, torture the side character to death for no reason but kill the bad guy offscreen in like, what, three seconds? I’m not saying it’s bad to give characters over the top death scenes. I just wish they had dedicated more effort to the actual villain instead of, you know, the fucking nanny. Not to mention how meanspirited it felt...
