With mermay coming to an end soon I present Human solo adventures Brooklynn and Leapord shark mermaid Soyona.

[Little info dump/story under cut]

Brooklynn is a treasure hunter, adventurer, smuggler, sailor—whatever you want to call her. She doesn’t care much for labels, as long as it keeps her at sea. Most of the time, she sails solo.

One day, while out on the water, she gets knocked overboard. The crew doesn’t bother turning back for her. Tangled in thick kelp and seaweed, she struggles, unable to swim to the surface. Just when she thinks she’s done for, the HoTTEST bADdy in the ocean and the most jaw-dropping creature she’s ever laid eyes on appears—a mermaid.

Brooklynn panics, reaching for her sword, convinced she’s about to get shredded by this creature. But the only thing that gets torn apart are the kelp strands trapping her.

The mermaid, who introduces herself as Soyona, smiles wickedly and says, “I saved your life. That means you owe me. A life’s worth a lot more than a few small jobs, wouldn’t you agree? Or… I could just eat you instead, if you’d prefer.”

Brooklynn hates the deal but has no real choice. So it’s done, Brooklynn was forever in her debt.

Brooklynn finds herself both fascinated and infuriated by this beautiful, infuriating creature. And Soyona, while she’s had plenty of humans in her debt before (most of whom mysteriously died—she may have forgotten to feed them), finds herself unexpectedly curious about Brooklynn. There’s something different about this one. And between you and me this one was her favorite.

Then the slow burn begins blah blah this and that Human half of the camp fam want to rat her out for having this sea demon as a friend.

I’m just gonna tie this into my already existing au of Human x Mermaid Jwcc/Jwct.

Team human is = Brooklynn, Sammy, Ben. Team Mermaid is = Darius, Yaz. As of Kenji I’m still debating.

the idea's been in my head for a while (i talked about it before back when i was last in the fandom) but i've always had this image ^ in my head and just never drawn it

i knoww it wouldn't be as cool if kenji was running from dinosaurs in waders and a yellow coat (it doesn't have to be yellow bc darius beat me to it, that was just my Vision) but i still feel it's a strong narrative place for him to be in a sequel show

he can get a change of clothes before going with ben and darius anyway ☝️

THE AU

This AU, as the title suggests, has The Handler in it's main focus. She suddenly finds herself being the main subject of an "experiment", and slowly, she changes, or, they change her to "become a raptor". She goes through what Wallace has to go through in Tusk with a few changes.

This AU has some really heavy stuff in it so it's completely fine if you'd rather prefer to skip this one out.

The plot rolls around a podcaster named Wallace Bryton who meets up with an elderly man for an interview. Things take a dark turn when he's kidnapped and throughout the movie, "turned into a walrus". He got sewed into a suit made out of human skin. There are many interpretations of the movie. Exploring our humane and animalistic tendencies, what does it mean to be human, etc.

Now basically, I kind of already spoilered the main premise of this AU, The handler gets no mercy in this one we're so sorry queen. Both physically and mentally destructed as she's put inside her "new form".

This AU will be written by our dear idea provider Raj, but Dawn and I will also help out in the process making.
