Queen Kathy D. Rool (Kathy Dinna Rool -- Maiden name Saurved)

The Queen of the Kremlings, known for her fiery, intense, burning passion for cooking. She'll be glad to have you for dinner!

(( OC x Canon is a lot of fun, but it's also been a lot of fun designing what's basically a brand new Donkey Kong boss and what kind of attacks/animations she'd have ))

Design Notes:

Kathy is much smaller and has a different body shape compared to K. Rool to really extenuate an entirely opposite feeling to him. His bloodshot eye is a key feature of his design, so this started out with the idea that the wife would have very cute eyes in comparison, but would be hiding how scarier and sharper her teeth are.

For some crocodilians, the females are smaller than the males, so it's an added bonus that she's tiny to how HUGE K. Rool is in Bananza. Also they have a funny resemblance to Pete and Peggy from the Goofy series.

There are a couple of Kremling designs for girl characters, but I wanted to try my hand at something that felt more in hand with Bananza's design. Poppy is the newest female character in this series and she doesn't have a human woman's body, making her somewhat like Dixie. So no additional boobs, but still anthropomorphic. It's something I think really works well with K. Rool and the rest of the Kremlings as a whole! (And makes Kalypso stay unique)

Looking at this review for a trippy old kid's movie and came across this description:

‘Cannibal Isle,’ an Island inhabited on one side by giant alligator/crocodile, pirates called “Swampies,” while the rare blue apes inhabit the other side.
