Finished a 5km walk/run, whatever you can call it, in 51.58 mins. Nothing to celebrate about as its probably the worst kind of cardiovascular (endurance) capacity you can expect from a fitness professional. Right? When it comes to strength training I know I rule the lifting platform, but when it comes to cardio I could barely run 25 meters that too with snail speed of 8. Well, you can say I am as good as any rank beginner when it comes to cardio and BTW this was DAY ONE of my cardio training after couple of years, and there is a very interesting reason behind me putting up my worst performance on social media. Training for an event, that I will be participating in January 2018. It is not a body building or physique competition but it will be very challenging in terms of both mental and physical fitness levels. The interesting part is more than the event it is going to be an experiment for me as I am going to be following a different protocol than the others participants in terms of training & nutrition. And what makes it even more interesting is, there are going to be life threatening conditions, where I will get see how helpful or effective my current training and nutrition protocol is. Can't disclose anything more about the event right now, but I will keep updating about my training routine, nutrition and most importantly my cardio training. You will see some fantastic transformations in me, in this period, as the focus is the event and not fat loss.
