I will forever find it funny that an artist who always draws Krillin getting cucked once made a poll for ppl to vote who will be the main character who gets to smash 18. The artist put Krillin on that poll (probably as a joke). Ironically, Krillin had won by a great margin. So what does the artist do? They delete the poll and make a different comic where Krillin gets cucked again.
Odd thing, this artist began drawing Krillin with 18, then shifted to cucking Krillin & their audience grew faster which meant more money quicker for them. Seems like they would rather keep cucking Krillin despite being shown that many ppl wanted to see Krillin with 18.
When I say that this is purposeful how nsfw artists and others make sure not to draw Krillin with 18, I mean it. Even when really big NSFW artists draw K18 art, it gets retweeted a lot, but majority of other artists dont follow suit and draw K18. Instead they draw 18 with other guys even more. But if it was Goku and Chi-Chi or Vegeta & Bulma or Gohan and Videl art that a big NSFW artist makes? Then ppl "follow the trend." They do the same when its art of 18 with someone other than Krillin. Ppl purposefully do not draw K18. You can call it a "conspiracy theory" but facts and evidence dont lie.
Why yes, there still is some adamant K18 bashing.out there.

So I was watching some Super clips. Scrolled down to the comments on a clip of Trunks learning Krillin married 18. Some cute positivity. And then...
Oh look, someone bashing K18. I wonder if they might have some hidden reason for tha- oh, I am shocked.
Nothing like saying Krillin’s got no business being in these sitautions because he’s too weak and he’s not “accomplished anything” (very clear “HE DIDN’T EARN HER!” vibes) but yet he can somehow see 18 with... even Tien or Yamcha. And, of course, the inevitable Trunks ship shilling. And he doesn’t get their characterization at all? And apparently didn’t even watch the show? I’m also shocked.
It is the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand and Twenty-Three and this nonsense is still peddled as if it were intellectual. Also, I don’t want to hear a WORD about “healthy relationships” or “believable writing” from someone who thinks Trunks should have overcome a lifetime of trauma in the span of weeks just to hook up with an alternate timeline version of the chick who haunts his nightmares and wiped out most of humanity because she’s cute. If you think that’s either of the above and not some poorly handled trope, you’ve got zero ground to speak on the issue, fam.

You sit there and defend the most sexist shit in this series, you defend women being made into baby mills for the men, and on top of it all, you fetishize the oppression of the most badass woman in the entire cast, and her being forced to marry a deformed midget and give birth to his deformed baby and we're just meant to accept she's happy with that as opposed to becoming the badass warrior queen she could be? I do think a lot of it comes from a shallow understanding of romance, but not all of it.
Saw someone re-share this on Twitter. I thought you were exaggerating when you said a lot of the fandom acts like 18 so much as looking at another guy means she wants to fuck him. I thought that had to be something seen through a fanboy lens, that no one was really that dense or crass or sexist. I apologize. It seems I was very wrong. *sigh* I mean, I don’t just make this stuff up, sadly. This is getting a bit common in the fandom, especially on the more casual side of things. They love to grab out-of-context screens and run with them.
